    Got:

Samurai Shodown Anthology (... Canadian, bleh) - $19 shipped from Walmart.com
4 single-device ATA cables (for my PC and DVD recorder... but my DVD recorder needs a different cable! Damn!)

    That's it. No picture. :P

I've seen games with bilingual packaging in my local Walmart a few times. And they're six miles North of Mexico.

I think Walmart got copies of a bilingual reprint meant for both countries, or maybe they were surplus Canadian versions. Who knows. So far two people (portnoyd and myself) have gotten the bilingual versions, and we both ordered from Walmart.

Omnimusha Warlords $3.99 complete/minty used at Gamestop. Will be my first taste of the series. Price was right.
Shadow of the Colossus (GH version) $10 new at Walmart. Wow, if you don't have it yet, this sounds like a great deal to check on.

Best friggin haul was the local store The Bargain Box's $.25 comics sale. Almost all of the comics in the store were a quarter each. I got almost all of the run of The X-Files, picked up some replacement copies for The Maxx, and got some Batman for the kids. Dozens of WANTED comics for <$10. Pretty cool.

A couple cool items, one from over the weekend and one from last night.

Last week my uncle picked up a Super Pong for $3.00 from one of the salvage sellers at the flea market him and I used to come away from with incredible stuff. It needed the usual cleanup, but works great. The battery compartment was in pretty rough shape but I've had a "parts" Super Pong in storage for quite some time with a pristine battery compartment. After swapping them everything is 100%. I salvaged what I could before tossing the parts unit, just in case. I paid him $10.00 for it, was a big hit all weekend long.

Yesterday afternoon during one of my broad "Atari" searches on craigslist, I came upon a listing for a GP2X for $40.00. I've been having bad luck on craigslist as of late but this time the seller got right back to me and we arranged payment and pickup later that evening.

It included a GP2X F100 Mark 2 with firmware 4.1.0 (SDHC compatible), a carry case, 1GB SD card, USB cable, users guide CD and an extra joystick disc. Works great and I've been having a great time with it - amazing little piece of hardware.

I've played up to Act V in Ninja Gaiden without a problem so some serious retrogaming can be done on this console. The stick took a little while to get used to but I'm not having any issues. I've installed a good amount of emulators and I'm in the process of pulling over my favorite games. Once I pick up a higher capacity SD card I'll probably shove entire emulation catalogs over to it.

2 more NES finds today at an indy store near me:

Jackie Chans Action Kung Fu (with manual)
    Galaxy 5000

Couple slightly uncommons off the list. Plus I've been looking for the Jackie Chans game in particular for around a yearish now.

I hit the gamestop b2g2 sale.

I went for games that looked decent and were not sports games:
MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf (This game came with a special edition bonus disc, did the normal copies come like this?)
    Advent Rising
    Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory
Unreal Championship 2: The Landai Conflict
    Future Tactics: The Uprising
    Metal Slug 3
Karaoke Revolution Party (Game only version)
    American McGee Presents Scrapland

All of them came with a xbox case and instructions except for Splinter Cell which did not come with instructions and Advent Rising which did not come with a xbox case

I got all of these for $26

I stopped by the local thrift store and got Ms. Pac-Man Maze Craze for DC complete for $1

Picked up an original Game Boy with a carrying case and 4 games: Tetris, Super Off Road, Kirby's Dream Land and Frogger at Goodwill today for $19.99. The unit is in exquisite shape; no scuffs or scratches anywhere and the screen is absolutely clean.

Very nice copy of Riven this morning at the church thrift for $3. I didn't have all these inserts with my copy, and the discs are near mint, so I'm happy.

Of particular interest are the Journeyman Project 3 insert (a favorite series of mine; apparently they were giving away golden copies of it in a contest), and the Myst comic order form. I never heard about a Myst comic, does anyone have it or know anything about it?

I hadn't heard of a Myst comic either. That's very, very strange.

Seriously, Porksta? You paid $4 for that crappy movie? :P

I picked up an older-styled ATA cable today, which was the last thing I needed to repair my used but still usable set-top DVD/VHS recorder. Now all I need to do is find a region and macrovision firmware hack. Woot.

I was looking at CB Warped, and saw that it did have the lenticular insert. Does that increase the value at all?

10 more penny guides, including the rare Mirror's Edge collectors edition. I've been searching for that one since several price drops ago. And I'm also going to hold on to this copy of L4D. Too bad I couldn't find anymore Star Ocean guides. Those things see like Chrono Trigger games.

Not to most. It just showed up (same with Crash 2) in the initial run of the game. It might bring a few bucks, but I don't think its going to make the game a 2k monies type game over the 'regular' release.
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.
