Plus the boxes look so cool lined up on my shelf! Of course if I wanted to find the last 10 or so tapes I would have to probably shell out big bucks for shipping on eBay...

I picked up the TNG complete VHS set last Spring for $20 from a yard sale. Couldn't pass it up. A lot to store, but great just the same.

Today's finds (Sorry, no picture, been cleaning my house all day, agh):

    * Rise of the Triad: Dark War (registered version), Starcraft, Steel Panthers + Scenario Disk = $4 for all
    * A very beat-up Sega CD-X with the Sega Classics CD inside (no cables or anything) - $3. I got this for trading, maybe someone wants it for parts?
    * Pinball Madness + I forget what other gaming compilation = $6 for both
    * Exector (Import PS1, no spine) - $1

Picked up a few things yesterday.

Went to Game Crazy and picked up the World of Warcraft Battle Chest (PC) for $20 and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team (GBA) for $9.50. They had the items for 50% off though pickings were ultra slim. I went with my cousins and I also picked up Sam & Max for PC but gave it to one of the cousins for his upcoming birthday. His brother went and cleaned them out on a bunch of CIB GBA games.

We headed over to a nearby Gamestop and one of the cousins picked up the Borderlands strategy guide ($20...ouch, when did guides get so damn expensive?) while his brother picked up Chaos Wars for PS2 for $10.

Our next stop was a Half-Price Books. I didn't find any gaming goodness but I did find some comic back issues for 25¢ each. They decided to go to another Gamestop one plaza over (the one I used to work for). In there I picked up Puchi Puchi Virus (DS) for $10 and King's Bounty: The Legend (PC) for $7.50. When I worked there the PC games were 50% off and I was surprised to see they changed it and they were now 75% off (older ones though, current stuff like WoW and Diablo Battle Chest are still full price).

Haven't posted here in a while, here's some recent-ish stuff.

Satellaview - very minty and seemingly complete, even with outer box. I don't think i've seen any of these with the outer box. Any idea on value/rarity?

Wonderswan game carrying case. I don't think I've ever seen one of these before - it has a pretty reasonably hard shell on the outside with a Wonderswan logo. Very useful, I think.

NIB Bandai Intellivision. Rare as hell console, rarer still in new condition (and no, that's not the actual price on the box). Got a bunch of boxed/minty JP Intellivision games as well (not pictured) for about $3/game.

I've got a bunch more stuff but that's all i'll post for now!

Nice on the Satellaview. Anything saved on the cartridge? What can you do with it these days?

I finally got a Sony Dual Analog controller from eBay... For about 25 bucks.

Its awesome! WOO! The analog sticks are a little awkward but its so freaking comfortable. Damn Sony for not continuing the long handle design. If only the DualShock 2 and 3 were like this.

That's the step before the DualShock, right?

Yeah. It was only out for a short time before the shorter-handled DualShock barged in. Im using this DA controller right now to play Crash Warped on my PS3. My god, its amazing how comfortable a PlayStation controller could be to me. I always found the DualShock handles to be a bit too small.

$25, really? We have a bucket full of those at work for $5 a piece. And yeah, dual analog not dual shock. That's just an insane price.

Quick deal off of kijiji today..Modern games though, all 360:

Devil May Cry 4 - (sealed)
Lost Planet: Colonies Edition - (sealed)
Dead Rising - (missing manual. )
    Wanted - (missing manual. )

All for $20. Kinda ticked about the lack of manuals..Ad said they were new, but wasn't going to screw up the deal by opening my big mouth. lol.

    Stuff I got this week

I picked up the external HD for $109.99. Bestbuy near my place was clearing it out for some odd reason.

I've heard that the Kyo game was the last one ever released for the GBA.

Just got my Atelier Annie Premium Box thing in the mail from rosenqueen, I'm unimpressed. Its just the Japanese premium box and figures, they didn't even put english text, with the english game thrown in. it didn't even come shrinkwrapped.

I had a nice little pick up off CL yesterday evening. A purple gamecube with box/controller/etc. It is the Zelda box. Came with a loose Zelda CE disc and a CIB, nearly perfect, GC Zelda: Twilight Princess. Plus the Gamecube Zelda: TP guide, also in excellent condition. Paid 30.

This guy had this listed multiple times, and I emailed him every time saying I'd take it, but he always said it was sold. This last time I figured he was just doing it to jerk people around, but figured another email wouldn't hurt. Anyway, turns out he'd just been stood up each time. Ain't CL grand!?

Wow! Nice find and a good deal to boot!

Today at Half Price Books I found:
    Cruis'n Exotica (Nintendo 64) $3 loose
2 Nintendo 64 "Performance" memory cards - $2 loose each

I almost passed the game because I thought I had it already, but it turns out I have Cruis'n USA. The rarity guide puts Exotica at a R5, which is great, but seems too rare to me? I don't know, as this is the first one I've seen in a long time.
