Castlevania 4 was the only SNES game I had for a long time, me and my friends have beat the heck out of it at least 30 times. I love it. I hate the NES games. I liked the first N64 game and Castlevania: SotN is my all time favorite, I have the Japanese saturn version that has bonus levels. I HATE the ps2 games! ...and I have not played much of the GBA games. I liked the PC Engine remake for the PSP and its cool that you can unlock the original version (although the screen is shrunk down, which sucks)

Speaking of Castlevania, I don't think I've played a CV game after SOTN.

I've never played any Castlevania game, ever.
I don't like a Boy and His Blob.
I can't beat SMB2, even after playing every day for two weeks.

Forgive me father, for I have sinned:

-I also hate Super Castlevania 4
-I use game genie on rpgs because i'm too impatient to level up.
-Oh wait, I use game genie on everything because I can't afford to waste time dying and starting a level over again.
-I think Zelda 2 is better than Zelda 1
-I still can't figure out fine-aiming with an analog stick
    -I would rather play a text-based game than N64
    -Little Big Planet is boring
-I hate all things mario above super mario world.
-I can recite codes for games i haven't played in 15 years, but can't remember when I work tomorrow.

    Hm.

    -I love Super Castlevania IV.
-I dislike turn-based RPGs, all of them. (with one exception-Earthbound)
-I'm not much of a fan of FPS games either, though there are a couple I've liked.
-I dislike any Zelda game not on the NES or SNES.
-I have an unexplainable love for Motor City Patrol on NES
RIP bargora, you will be greatly missed. That is how we do things on Giedion Prime.

I've always found it easier to do fine aiming by strafing rather than looking, especially when sniping.

You're not alone. I rate Super Castlevania IV far behind Castlevania III - Dracula's Curse, Castlevania, and Dracula X Chi No Rondo. In fact, I prefer Castlevania Bloodlines, which seems to be heretical among most Castlevania fans.

Bless me father, for I have sinned. I am a Castlevania whore...

If you release a POS game system, just get Konami to release Castlevania for it and I'll buy one... It's looking like it's going to happen that way again pretty soon. Last time, PSP. Time before that... N64. I feel dirty...

Ack, I've got a confession here. I really do not like the Darkstalkers games. Horror combined with fighting? The two just don't mix. That, and the series is just inferior to every other Capcom fighting series.

I wish I could disagree with you, but to be honest, I really only enjoyed the second Darkstalkers game, Nightwarriors. The rest of the series just never appealed to me, and I'm a hardcore fighting game nerd.

Nightwarriors is the one I really can't get into. It was one of my first Saturn games, and I heard it was supposed to be good, but I really can't get into it.

Castlevania IV imo is the best of the series... followed by SotN although in general I don't like the way Konami changed the series into what it currently is. Maybe the upcoming WiiWare game will return things to their roots...

Agreed. Mega Man 2 is amazing, especially if you compare it to the first game. Mega Man 3 was close, but the bosses in MM2 were perfect. I quit the series after number 5, though.

3 is also great, but the thing that pushes 2 over the edge is that there really is no set order of how to do the Robot Masters, and that makes the game a lot more fun for me. The fact that I don't have to start with, say Air Man, and then MUST go to Crash Man is a plus.

I don't blame you for quitting after 5 -- 6 is damn hard, probably the hardest after the first one. It is fun, though.

The only thing that really bothers me about Castlevania IV is the insane amount of slowdown. It's not the best or the worst in the series, somewhere in the middle.

-Castlevania Chronicles is one of my favorites in the series.
-Without Street Fighter IV, I probably would've sold my dust-collecting 360.
-Tired of any FPS/3rd PS after Quake III
    -Bioshock sucked.
-Metal Gear VR Missions is the only good post-NES Metal Gear.
-I've never played a DS (other than in-store)
-I didn't care for Ico (loved Shadow)
    -Mario64 is over-rated.

Really? I found 6 to be the easiest of the NES games. For the original series as a whole (aside from 9, since I haven't played it very much,) I would rank only 7 as easier.

I seriously cannot beat most of the Robot Masters; 6 is the only game of the original NES run where I have this problem.
