Xbox vs PS2 Castlevania Curse of Darkness

I recently saw a strategy guide for Castlevania Curse of Darkness that specifically says PS2 on the cover. Does it also work for the Xbox version of the game? Could the two games really vary that much by platform? I just started buying Xbox games, so it's all new to me. Up until now, my most modern systems were the SNES and Turbo Duo.

Most mutiplatform games in the modern gen are pretty similar. It's a safe bet that a guide that says PS2 will get you through the Xbox version and vice versa...

Actually the guide is most likely for the PS2 version only. The reason for this is because if you have a save data of Lament of Innocence on your memory card you can get a Moai Head at the beginning of the game the opposite direction of which the player starts.

It probably has that in there meaning that the guide isn't for the XBOX version. Other than that though, everything else could be used for the XBOX version :P
