Nothing beats going out eary in the morning on Saturday and looking for games. The next best thing is going home and adding them to the collection.

    Default Keep me

I think the thrill of the hunt is a major part of it.

If I couldn't shop locally anymore, I'd still do it, but I'd probably look for eBay deals or just sell off the lower priority collections of more recent stuff that I wasn't too serious about to streamline. There's no way I'd be working on Saturn, Gen, SNES collections if I couldn't hunt.

And secondly, completionism pushes me for most systems, since it's not always THAT hard to find the best games to play.

I keep collecting because there's still stuff I don't have yet, and there are plenty of games and experiences that I haven't had yet.

I just love playing old games on old systems.....I do like a lot of modern stuff, but I prefer the older stuff.

And with playing the old games comes getting the systems, and being old, its good to have a few spares!

I'm still searching for all the games I had as kid, I'm getting close to being finished, but there are several more out there to get....
Once I acquire those, I figure I'll be done with the getting of classic games, and I'll just sit back and play them. Ah, the promised land....
    SO not the Drama.

The thrill of the hunt it's the main reason not only to find videogames stuff but any other cool and weird thing from the 80's and other era.
Oh eBay! you are such a pain, I am addicted to you like crack cocaine. You offer things I cannot find in stores,You are the pimp, and we are all your whores.

I still love playing my older systems and I enjoy looking for games to add to my collections and find games I had once and want to enjoy again, or find game sor items I never saw before when I was younger.

    Default Game on!

For me, it is waking up at the butt crack of dawn on Sunday morning, going to dusty flea mart that sells all kinds of crap, and right smack dab in the middle of a dust bowl is some stupid rare cart that needs to find a home..........my home!
