All 8 or so GameStops in my area put the stickers on the spine, but they leave the wax backing on. Good pickup Animerforever05, the PSP rocks. I have to be honest though, Hammerin' Hero was one of my biggest disappointments of 09. Such a fun series, but this entry is a far cry from the classics. It's just really slow and boring.
Dock sale again today. Spent $12. Got some OEM disc, a Linksys wireless internet bridge (worth $30 on eBay yay), and vintage Koss headphones as well as some other misc. Also got a fat PS2 with a network adapter attached. Just tested the PS2 and it works fine. That's going to eBay also.

Wow, I wish there was Goodwill dock sales around here instead of the shitty outlet store, those are good finds!
A few things over the past week or so. I've been out of town visiting my parents so this is a bit of a catch up.
There were some pretty good PS2 deals so I figured why not. Offer for the first four was buy one get one half off, buy three get one free - so that's how the pricing works. All are new.
PS2 - Gun ($3.00)
PS2 - Marc Ecko's Getting Up (Free)
PS2 - Pinball Hall of Fame The Williams Collection ($9.99)
PS2 - Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus (Free)
PS2 - We Love Katamari ($9.99) - (purchased earlier)
I was out doing some returns with my family and stopped into a Gamestop to pass a little time. Amazingly there were some good GBA games left in their case.
GBA - Metroid Zero Mission ($9.99)
GBA - Shining Force: Resurrection of the Dark Dragon (Free)
GBA - River City Ransom EX ($4.99)
My uncle got a bag of Atari VCS cartridges for $1.00 from my old flea market that he gave me. There was also a copy of Bowling but my sister didn't have that one so I gave it to her. All are duplicates with the exception of Math Gran Prix.
VCS - Adventure
VCS - Asteroids
VCS - Circus Atari
VCS - Combat
VCS - Frogger
VCS - Math Gran Prix
VCS - Pac-Man
VCS - Space Invaders
VCS - Space War
VCS - Video Pinball
Upon returning home there was a package in my mail box, the Ultimarc I-PAC control encoders I got off eBay. About $50.00 shipped for the pair, both different era PS/2 two player versions. One will go in my Pole Position MAME cabinet to finish off the game selection stuff from the front end and the other will be used when I convert that 3/5th size Galaga to a vertical MAME cabinet.
Lastly, just for the hell of it, a sealed (before this picture) case of Sailor Moon CCG premiere edition booster packs.

I got a lot similar to this for the same price at a church sale, but instead all of the carts had "LARRY" written on them like that. Freakin' Larry.
Fun games, but the fact that they're common and that someone wrote their name on them like that just destroys the little collector's value that they had.

You might be able to get the writing off by very carefully applying a bit of goo gone and windex.
Just make sure not enough to get the label wet.
Not worth the trouble for common games. I gave them the standard cleaning before they get sorted in with the rest. A little of the marker faded but it's no big deal.
Again, they're all duplicates save for one anyway. No value in them outside of to play but they're fine to make lots out of and toss them in next time I dump yet another VCS system at a yard sale.
Interesting thing today. I got a box full of Lightspan PS1 games for $12. There's at least 50 discs here, but it's just the discs and the box, none of the other materials that came with a Lightspan system.

"I've not seen such bravery!"
Just making my rounds in my area and got this today.
Silent Hill 2, 3, & 4: $6.00 a piece for 3 & 4, 2 was less than $3.00 ( 20% off sale )
Madden 09 DS: 10.99 on clearance from a blockbuster
Digimon Rumble Arena Factory Sealed: Walmart of all places, it wasn't in their inventory so they sold it to me for $5.00!
Madden 10 PS2 Case: Freebie from blockbuster
Wow, cool find on Digimon. My Wal Mart still has PS1 games, but they are Madden 2005 and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, and $19.99 each.
Also, its kind of weird that Madden 09 was $10.99. I've bought like 7 or 8 of them in the last few weeks at different blockbusters and its always been $9.99.
Went and bought some games from a craigslist seller who turned out to be Kuros from DP. Small world . Here's what I got:
NES
Mega Man
Bump N Jump
City Connection
Wizards and Warriors
Rad Racer
Operation Wolf
Tiger Heli
Time Lord
Tennis
Battle Chess
Snake Rattle N Roll
SNES:
Waynes World
VBoy:
Marios Tennis
Good day to end the year on.
Gurumin I could tell was still on wax paper. I couldn't really tell on Hammerin' Hero but props to Daria for pointing out it was sealed. I wasn't completely sure on Phantasy Star as I thought it might be a multi-sticker job. There were a few stores in my area that stickered new gutted games like the used ones. I wondered if maybe he had gotten one that was traded in and they slapped yellow stickers over the old white ones.
When I worked there, I flat out refused to apply the sticker to the insert and always kept the sticker on the wax paper. It was a mild pain in the butt to get the other managers in the store to comply with that but I managed to convince most of the part timers to do it like I did. I usually ended up processing all trades anyway just to make sure it got done the "right" way. I didn't care if it was a highly sought after rare title or a common copy of Madden, I didn't want to see ANY game have it's insert covered with the crappy stickers. It only figures after I left that the company issued an edict banning future games from having the sticker applied to the spine.
