Is this coming out on the ps3/xbox360, as far as I know(i think) it is only a Wii release. I hope it is not.

It was confirmed for XBLA and PSN several days ago.

Nintendo Power just broke the news and obviously just covered the WiiWare release.

As for me, I'm totally excited... gameplay looks solid too- didja see the SANDSTORM?
As far as graphics go, I'd say they're probably most similar to 6... *runs & hides*
But seriously though, 6 used a similar color palette style, almost like a Super Game Boy game in some levels (example: the stage where it's all 4 shades of purple).

Definitely a day 1 must-buy, and if you didn't play 9 for some self-righteous reason or another, just pa the $10 and get it already. Seriously. It's not going to come out on disc anytime soon, if at all.

2. No, I am not complaining. Again, I shouldn't have to justify this.

3. MM9 sold 140,000 in its first week. The newest Star Force title is Amazon rank #2,757 and #4,372, putting more than 1,600 at best behind Persona PSP, an example of a niche title. The download code for the 360 version of MM9 is Amazon rank #4,524 (consider how many people even buy download codes on Amazon). Comparing the two titles on Metacritic, you're looking at 80 vs 59. There are 1,300 combined user scores on GameSpot for MM9, compared to 500 combined scores for the latest Star Force.

Mega Man is by no means coming back to mainstream, but 8-bit sequels certainly beat out the 12-year-old-targeting spin-offs.

I'm talking about how the StarForce games supposedly have a smaller audience and thus shouldn't be the one getting the physical release. It may have more overall sales, but you aren't really taking into account the size of the game itself or the effect of being sold for $10 rather than $30 has on the game's success, either.

Well, Konami just recently released two volumes of DLC on physical disc(3 games each), so it's not out of the realm of possibility to see these get the same treatment.

Look, it's got nothing to do with checking other's facts, or even that you disagree with everything. A lot of threads are actually made a lot more interesting with a healthy debate. The problem people are having with you is how confrontational you've been acting in pretty much every thread you've posted in.
