72 Pin NES Connectors

Where is the best place to buy these things. 2 of the 3 places I have bought these the connectors where crap. I need a place to buy from that you know make or sell new 72 pin NES connectors that work. I am fixing about 50 NES units and need a good 72 pin supplier.

I got one from my local Games Plus store and it has been working great for the past week since I had it replaced... It is REALLY tight though, you have to play tug-of-war to get your games out. If there isn't a store near you I'm sure you could call one and even just ask where they buy theirs from or something.

Yeah, I always got mine on eBay. They were only around $10 after shipping, but that was back in '04. I don't know if they've gone up in price since then. Probably.

I just recently went to a games plus in Houston and had no idea that they sold these. I'll stick with ebay 5 hour drive isn't worth that lol.

I bought one off of ebay two weeks ago for 6 bucks shipped and it works just fine.

Got mine off ebay last year for $12, worked perfectly.

Over a year ago I bought the cheapest one I could find off ebay. It's finally not hanging onto games so tightly. I found leaving the console on for an extended period of time 3-4 hours when the games start to get warm the pins may shape a bit better. Also leaving a game in the counsole for a few months helped spread the connectors out a bit.

Works perfectly.

I usually just open up my NES, remove the connector that's already in it, and use a needle to lift each pin back up individually. The pins usually aren't corroded or anything, just bent a little too far to be able to make solid contact with games. It seems to work alright, and it's free if you don't want to go through the trouble of buying a new connector.

I bought mine off Ebay last year. It's really tight haven't had a problem with it.

And while you're replacing your 72-pin, you may as well take the extra few seconds to disable the lockout chip, to stop additional blinking.
