Default Cleaning a dirty DS card

What is the best way to clean out a dirty DS card? I'm rather hesitant to take a q-tip and alcohol to it...

the nintendo game cleaning kit? Or is that for old games only? x.x I haven't ever had to clean one before... If it's just dirt perhaps you could use a dry toothpick or something soft.

You shouldn't be, there is nothing wrong with alcohol, except don't let it touch you label.

What did you spill on it, some solutions may work out better for you, but alcohol is always a solid choice.

My copy of Iron Chef America went through the washer in the pocket of one of my pairs of jeans. Didn't help the label a whole lot, but the rest of the card is clean.

Nothing was spilled on it, it just seems to be dust and grime that built up over time.
