    Default Dualshock 3 question

Does anyone know if the Dualshock 3 controller has analog face buttons like the Dualshock 2 did? I am referring to the X, O, triangle, and square buttons.

Mmmmm ... I see no evidence to suggest that the X, O, Triangle and Square do NOT have analog sensitivity on a Dual Shock 3.

I suppose the best way to test would be to play Silent Hill 2 on a PS3 that has PS2 BC, as that game won't play without a Dual Shock 2 (which has analog face buttons).

What I wonder about the controller is if the rumble feature would wear out the rechargeable battery faster than the original Sixaxis w/o rumble would?

I'm a collector, but only to a certain extent.
Not as extreme as Rickstilwell though.[/quote]

Yes, there's a difference, but both last for long, long multi-hour gaming sessions, so it's hardly noticable.
