Default Capcom Pad Soldier for SNES... non-SFC version?

I'm confused. All versions of the Capcom Pad Soldier I've seen online say Super Famicom on them. However, both of mine are devoid of that text.

Is this version/variant known? I doubt it has much value, but I'm still curious about it.

Maybe it's a case of deja vu again, but I thought I saw a topic about this within the last year. In any case, wasn't this mail order?

Someone made a thread last year about this, and I answered the same deal in that thread.

There are Capcom Soldier controllers for each system. I have a 3DO and a Genesis Capcom Soldier controller. They have different button colors as well as different model numbers for each system.

I don't remember mine having 'super famicom' anywhere on it, but I'm not sure.

I took some pictures of my controllers. I'll upload them once I get them off my phone, but none of them state "Super Famicom" anywhere.

Ah I've had this really strange looking original NES wire that says Capcom on it for years now.. I've always wondered what it went to (or where I got it lol).. Is this it?

I made the thread... originally about my setup, but I didn't receive conclusive answers. The thing is, I know there were different ones for each system. However, I see two versions of the one for SNES: one that says Super Famicom, and one that doesn't.

No, you've probably got the cord for the Capcom Fighter Stick Pro, which had cords for the Super NES, NES, Genny, and one of the flavors of TurboGrafx.

I have the same one as you and I originally bought it in the early 90's. Why would they put super famicom on the snes version? laziness? Either way it is a great controller and I want the 3DO version next.
