After dozens of hours I finally beat Super Mario Bros. 2 (J)...
1. Mega Man 9 (XBLA, 1/4)
2. Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine (Genesis, 1/4)
3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Arcade Game (XBLA, 1/4)
I decided to play through this game on a whim. It's still a lot of fun and it's probably one of the better titles I'll play through since I'll be trying to beat all my XBLA titles over the next few months. Especially since I haven't even played some of them.
I just tried playing this game against a friend a few days ago after not having played it for a few years, and I am no longer a master at it. I used to be the guy nobody would ever play against because they never stood a chance, and now I can't even set up simple combos. Mean Bean Machine doesn't let you counter enemy puyos, so once someone gets a nasty combo on you you're dead. I was used to playing Kirby's Avalanche, and a good part of my strategy relied on countering combos while I set up massive ones.
so far
blue dragon
ridge racer 6
hasnt been very long but I finished:
Klonoa 2: PS2
Pangya: PSP (Don't know if this really counts as "beaten", but I unlocked it all)
Time Hollow: DS
I got my warrior to 80 finally on WoW?
my gargoyle necromancer paladin samurai (lol) on UO finally got 120 swordsmanship so hes completely complete
I guess being off of school and having nothing else to do results in alot of me staring at screens.
not that thats a bad thing.
Just beat Resistance for PSP. One of the best game for that system if you ask me.
1. Mega Man 9 (XBLA, 1/4)
2. Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine (Genesis, 1/4)
3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Arcade Game (XBLA, 1/4)
4. Golden Axe II (Genesis, 1/5)
5. Eternal Sonata (X360, 1/6)
Golden Axe II
Not much to say here, the Golden Axe games are fun, but I'm not the biggest fan. This one wasn't a huge improvement over the first game, so I'm hoping the third will be a bit better. Expect to see some more Genesis titles and XBLA titles as I try to work through my backlog on the 360.
Eternal Sonata
I enjoyed this one, it took me forever to finally get through it but I did enjoy it. It wasn't super long, it took me just over 20 hours to beat the main questline, but there are still some things for me to do in the game, so I'm not finished with it yet. Not my favorite RPG on the 360, but it's up there and worth playing if you're a fan of this style of game.
1. 1/5 - Resident Evil: Deadly Silence (DS)
First time beating the game as Chris, and in 4 hours with 12 saves while saving both Jill and Rebecca. While it isn't the fastest time, the game still praised me by saying, "What a tough guy!"
I beat Super Mario Bros. 3.
It's a lot easier than 2j
1. Mega Man 9 (XBLA, 1/4)
2. Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine (Genesis, 1/4)
3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Arcade Game (XBLA, 1/4)
4. Golden Axe II (Genesis, 1/5)
5. Eternal Sonata (X360, 1/6)
6. Alien Storm (Genesis, 1/6)
This was an interesting game, and it kept me entertained, but it's a pretty mediocre Genesis title in the grand scheme of things and I doubt I would have ever played it had it not been included in the Ultimate Genesis Collection. So, I'm afraid this one doesn't get any sort of recommendation from me.
I haven't beaten a game so far this year, unless you count me punching my copy of Raiden on the Jaguar. That game is too hard without a turbo button.
Where's my chippy? There's my chippy.
1. Mega Man 9 (XBLA, 1/4)
2. Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine (Genesis, 1/4)
3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Arcade Game (XBLA, 1/4)
4. Golden Axe II (Genesis, 1/5)
5. Eternal Sonata (X360, 1/6)
6. Alien Storm (Genesis, 1/6)
7. Battle Arena Toshinden (PSOne, 1/7)
I remember having a lot more fun with this game when I was younger, but sadly it just didn't age well. The characters move very slowly and the controls feel very sluggish because of this, and since the game has no story, there's little incentive to play through the game with more than one of the characters, unless you just feel that you have to fight the game's hidden boss, and weren't able to fight him on your first playthrough.
January 8th: Ghostbusters: The Video Game (PS2)
I really liked this game, it feels pretty close to being a third Ghostbusters movie. I'm not sure if the PS2 version is just a poor port or what though, because the game did feel very unpolished. The cut-scenes often had problems with audio syncing, and some characters didn't have lip-syncing; the game even crashed three or four times during the cut-scenes. All problems aside though, I really enjoyed this one.
New:
2. 1/7 - Shadow Complex (XBOX 360) - This game is amazing. As a big fan of the Metroid series and Castlevania series, I absolutely loved this game. Everything about it was awesome and I look forward to replaying it trying to get 100% of the items.
Old:
1. 1/5 - Resident Evil: Deadly Silence (DS)

1) Beat Panzer Dragoon Saga a few days ago.
I just started up Lunar 2 (SCD) and I can't decide if I like it or not.

8. Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers (XBLA, 1/9)
Not much to say here, it's Magic...just on my Xbox, and without all the customization options of the real game. I've enjoyed this one so far, and I plan to continue playing it until I reach 100% completion.
New:
3. 1/8 - Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles (Wii) - Awesome game. Very fun on rails shooter which explains the events of RE2 and Code: Veronica well while giving some back story on Jack Krauser.
