All problems aside though, I really enjoyed this one.
I'm almost done with the PS3 version and it's not just the PS2 version. Poor lip synching, bugs, dumb teammate AI and load times (even with the 10 minutes installation). I want to praise the game but it's a mess technically.

    1. Batman: Arkham Asylum (PS3) 1/2/10
    2. Kirby Super Star Ultra (DS) 1/6/10

Next will be Ghostbusters (PS3) and Torchlight (PC), a game I have been slow simmering for the past 2 months.

    1. Lego Batman

    2. E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial

I got a copy of this game for around 10 cents a few years ago. I knew that it was supposed to be one of the worst games of all time, which what made it appealing to me. Thought I might taste a little of gamings history or something. I finally got around to playing it a few hours ago. It was rather charming, but I could see why people were pissed off about it.

Last year, I was a bit busy to really beat many games; having only beaten 18 (A far cry from 2008; where I beat 26 games). With some minor differences this year (Listing the date I beat the game on), I now begin...

    #1: FreeCell (PC) [1\12]

...With one that will proabaly look odd among the other games here. After many years of trying, I successfully won a game of FreeCell on Windows. Now, maybe I'll get back to one of the games I left hanging from last year...

Dragon Quest 3 on SNES and Brigandine Legend of Forsena

With Dragon Quest, I actually only had to finish off Zoma to finish the game. With Brigandine I played as Norgard again and almost finished off the game in the first year. I finished off the two last countries on month 12, 215, which is still the first year, but then the next month passed and the ending played during month 1, 216.

Anyways. This year I'll list the games I finish alphabetically.

    Brigandine
    Dragon Quest 3(SNES)
Everything in the above post is opinion unless stated otherwise.

    1. Lego Batman
    2. E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial

    3. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (GG)

It took many years, the help of a friend and a walkthrough to get me through this hunk of crap. This is blasted as the hardest Sonic game ever created, largely due to twitchy controls, a difficult first boss and imprecise instructions on some of the games mechanics. Once you get past that...it's not really that bad. Interesting level designs and a decent score are present.

Ghostbusters was a lot of fun, but dumb teammate AI, bugs and horrific load times dampened the experience. Next up: Uncharted 2.

    8. Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers (XBLA, 1/9)
    9. Super Mario World (SNES, 1/14)

Not much I can say about this one that hasn't already been said, it's still a ton of fun to play and is one of my personal favorite Mario games. It didn't take me too long to run through with all 96 exits, but it's still a blast to play and will likely see plenty of play in the future.

Okay, it was easy but it is a full game "completed."

    3. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves - PS3
It took 11 hours, 45 minutes according to my savegame. It may be many people's game of 2009, but whilst I enjoyed it (a lot) I wouldn't rate it that highly. It is far far far too linear and has many bad videogame faults in it. Not sure whether to play the first Uncharted now though...

I've been meaning to pick this up ever since I got an Xbox because I love the original on the Dreamcast. Well, this one was fantastic too! Look forward to unlocking new things and getting the achievements. If I remember correctly, these "Tera" forms of the bosses are new??

I finally got an XBOX 360, so I just got around to playing through Halo 3.

Relative to the previous installments, the FPS aspects felt watered down. However, the vehicle combat was improved. The overall story arc was OK, but it wasn't well plotted.

My expectations were sky-high, so slightly disappointing overall. Still, an immensely entertaining game.

Got this for free from TTG's website a couple of days ago and it was pretty fun. It had been some time since I last played a point and click adventure game. I may look into the rest of the series at some point and maybe some other games by TTG to see how they are.

    1. dead space (medium) - 1/11
    2. 50 cent: blood on the sand (hard) - 1/17 - i had a lot of fun with this one. the competent third-person shooting combined with the points system and the self-aware sense of humor made for good times.
