Lust for Frankenstein...lol. Kitsune, you find the most humorous DVDs. Let me know how that compares to Spider Babe

That sucks about the Sega CD games. I haven't tried getting any shipped recently due to that concern, although my last shipment came in a box that had ridiculous padding. Good price on the MvC2 case there.

Yeah, Sega CD games often lack the foam pads, so you end up with a disc jumping around during transit. I specifically ask sellers to put the disc in a sleeve and pack it somewhere else inside of the package rather than inside of the actual case. This prevents a lot of potential damage.

It wouldn't have been an issue if he'd sent the game in A BOX and not A FREAKIN ENVELOPE.

At least you got a PADDED envelope. I've gotten bigbox PC games in manilla envelopes before, no packing whatsoever.

I have. My copy of King of Fighters 95 for the Game Boy came like that. T_T

And this was one of those crappy padded envelopes that use this... dusty cloth thing to pad stuff. The envelope was partly ripped, so guess what - everything was dusty as heck. I hate those things. They give me allergies. T_T

Oh man, the envelopes where the filling is like this dense, shredded paper pulp? I hate those. Just trying to tear open the envelope when you receive it a risky endeavour. Super dusty.

Just started my Sega system collection earlier this week. Got a series 1 genesis with the power supply and everything, a controller, and a loose cart of sonic 2 all for 20 dollars. My friend also hooked me up with the Sega CD addition for free. Real happy about that.

The next day from the same used game place in town I got a Sega Dreamcast with the power supplies, memory card, a few common games, controller and this huge hardshell case that holds everything for 30 dollars. Not that bad of a score.

I stopped in a Play-N-Trade today and picked up the following:
    - Nothing

I actually have self-control for spending when in the presence of video games. That in itself is an amazing find

Actually, I did pick up something today from work.

Army of Two: The 40th Day (x360)

    Nothing too major today.
Grabbed a nice condition snes with DKC 3 and Killer instinct.
I don't have DK, so I'm keeping that, and flipping the rest.
    $14.99

    Escape from Bug Island Wii
A friend recommended this to me, and for $2.99, I couldn't refuse.

    Personal Trainer Cooking DS
I bought this for my mom a while back, and was so impressed by it, I bought my own when I found one for only $4.99

And, when I was in EB Games, I ran into my old Nintendo rep. She remembered me! We chatted for a bit, and she gave me a Kirby Super Star DS demo! Hooray!

Added a seventh vectrex to my collection. Off Craigslist, $50 and delivered to where I work! 11 boxed games, console, also misc vectrex docs that would have come with it, manual, warranty card, etc.

    Holy crap!

Escape from Bug Island for $3 and Personal Trainer: Cooking for $5!

I remember like three years ago Escape from Bug Island and Wing Island were "the" bad Wii games.

    Nice Vectrex find, though.

I looked up some videos of each game while posting and thought the 2 Unlimited tracks were hillarious. Spent some time playing each game and this one requires some good strategy. Brutal fast.

I was digging HyperZone a lot. If anyone every wondered what F-Zero would be like as a shooter, this is pretty accurate as to how it would turn out.

evg2000, insane haul there. $50 is a killer deal! I'm still waiting to find a Vetrex in the wild, have had a chance to play a buddies system and it's interesting by far.

Actually no, I have no interest in the Vectrex nor give a damn about it. So all you get is a resounding "meh." ^_^

When I got to the swap meet this morning it was raining, and by that time, most of the vendors had packed up and left. Luckily, the one vendor who had games kept everything well covered and cut me a great deal on the following group.

$30 for everything you see here (system hook ups included but not pictured).

A Daytona Netlink CIB? For $30 with all that stuff on top of it? You just got a $1000 game for $30.

I'm being dead serious when I say this: please stop posting in this thread. I don't want to know what you get. I care but I just get mad every time I see it because what you find is so over the top, it makes me suicidal when all I find is a disc only copy of Tony Hawk 3 for the PS1.

Oh come on, thats the fun of the thread - who got the most or best toys at the cheapest prices. You guys would do the exact same thing. Its esstentially a bragging thread so brag away. Personally I enjoy the amazing deals some people get. I go through my dry spells too and seeing the great deals are what keeps me going

    Its all good guys
