Went to Goodwill today and got GTA III on the PC for $4 and Squish 'Em Featuring Sam on the Colecovision for $6. They also had Frogger II for the same price, might go back for it. I don't go to this Goodwill very much because they NEVER lower prices.

Literally, the same Michael Jackson's Moonwalker VHS has been sitting behind the glass since July. $20 since then. Three $25 PS1s, 1 $75 Xbox, and a $25 Gamecube, all have been there for an extended amount of time.

It's only $210 with the regular microswitches installed ($30-$40 extra for omron's) but it ships from China, so I think I paid $327 total. Still a great price considering the official Konami ASC sells for more than that used and isn't as good.

In a few weeks I'm ordering one of these:

That beatmaniaIIDX controller looks awesome as well. It's a pity that I haven't been able to play a working bemani game in a few years.

I have some finds to post, but I'm still sorting through the mess. Here's a synopsis of the finds without the photos:

Ton of common Atari games ($5 total)
Empty boxes for: Xbox 360 Arcade (with Uno offer), NES Action Set, SNES w/ SMW, Dreamcast w/ Modem (missing cardboard & docs)
Misc CIB SNES & Genesis games, CIB mint Zelda II
Ton of controllers (13 controllers for $12 total)

We had one made for us at DesktopArcade.com a few years ago and wasn't that expensive and it was well made and has good components in it too. He's a bit slow, but he's a one man show.
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.

Yeah, I used to have one of those before I got this one. It was a decent controller but the buttons were REALLY noisy. Bought it used but I hear the waiting lists for new ones are totally ridiculous (like waiting a year and a half for one isn't uncommon).

    Decent haul today.

    DC - Bangai-O (complete) - 6
    Genesis - Pagemaster (complete) - 6
    NES - Yoshi (complete) - 8
    Sega CD - Dracula Unleashed - 5
    Sega CD - Space Ace - 8

I already got Bangai-O, picked it up to resell / trade off. I already had Pagemaster but my copy is completely fucked. This one is nice and mint.

I'm in the process of packing up my collection for when I move in a few weeks. God this is going to suck so hard.

Seriously, there were like 3 garage sales today.

I almost left a boxed Ken Griffy 99 something-or-another and Rogue Squadron (N64) but realized they were only $0.25 each so I picked them up.

Also got a Casiotone MT-220 for $8, that's either going to my keyboard setup (along with my SK-8, Rapman, MT-100, and MT-45) or I'm going to eBay it. Haven't decided yet.
Check my auctions here! I am in the business of finding off-beat things, including video game stuff!

    View my collection!

Edit: Goddamnit, why can't I link to Flickr?
Edit 2: Goddamnit, why does IE show me the wrong properties for the picture?

First find worth photographing in a while, hopefully the pic works now. Anyway. Genesis - Ecco, JP, Krusty, and Mickey Mania all have manuals and were only 99 cents each. So was the GBA carry case. Mario Party 5 (GC, sadly disc only) was only 1.99. Also bought a pair of handcuffs at the same Goodwill for 99 cents, which makes me wonder, who gives handcuffs to Goodwill? o_0

Flea Market..the cold strikes again...very limited amount of vendors
    Virtually Nothing in games..

There were two weird vehicles there today that was said to have been in the movie "Be Kind Rewind"..
The vendors knew a lot about the movie and where it was made..
One vehicle was an old PUCH Moped with Horse paneled sides.I can't see the bike being ridden like it was,it was a prop
The second was a much bigger vehicle on a trailer,it was made out of junk to resemble an old car(CRAZY LOOKING),
he car was mostly white the wherls were spare tires, dummies reversed.,no steering,..
.. it had a Briggs and Stratton motor in it..Another prop..
I've never seen the movie so I dunno but the items were cool to see..

    "Be Kind Rewind"
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=62CZL9Rhz8Y
Synopsis: Music-video-director-turned-auteur Michel Gondry continues to charm with his low-tech offering,
BE KIND REWIND. Set in dreary Passaic, New Jersey, the comedy centers on two of the town's residents
    http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/be_kind_rewind/
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Be_Kind_Rewind

Wife bought two DVDs(clerks) that I can't find now..

    SNES
I got this in trade($15) for something I had..(at another smaller flea market

    Honda Minimoto electric pocketbike
    $25
....from $50.00..It's in better condition then the one I have already.

It went right up on the shelf..I'm not messing with this bike till it gets warmer.
    I ove these things..

$3.00 Big Wheel, same as the one I recently got there...(from old man freezing)
Since these have an ajustable seat my older Son can ride it and chase around my younger Son on his..
My Son rode it around at the market while I 'ran around.
    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2.../25bike001.jpg

The most rememberable thing that happen today..
A big layout, lots of stuff vendor started yelling, screaming that someone stole a digital camera,
that he had on a table(sounded like someone was getting robbed so everyone stopped to look what was going on)..
He runs up to a front table of his and starts tearing it apart in rage, looking under everything.
.yelling that it's worth $100.00 and that,if it's gone there's going to be trouble...

You'd not leave something of that caliber on a table out in the open if it's worth that much,
but every piece of junk this guys sells is worth a lot of money to him.
He started running around in circles as if to start knocking people down thinking they had his camera.
.rushing to other vendors as to blame them as if they took it
yelling,"they stole my camera.they stole my camera.-did you see it..

I have to admit I hate flea market theft but sometimes
"what comes around goes around with these people, they screw over so many people and do it with a grin..
He sells LOTS of not working junk at high price swearing things work.to people
. and when they return with items he tells them to F off.

I know I'm fawning over the wrong find but that Tactics Ogre looks nice and clean FamicomFreak. You didn't pay too much for it did you? One day I'll have a copy for my own *kicks self for passing up a complete copy at EB Games 5 years ago*

The buttons are noisy, and I know I had a wait, but if it was as close as long as he might be now i'd raise holy hell. A wait like that would be unacceptable

Videogamerdaryll, how many bikes do you have at this point? I have been around here a while (as have you) and I just seem to watch your bike collection grow and grow, haha.

Got a bunch of stuff today:

Science Papa was $15 at Best Buy, the PS1 controller (SCPH-1080) was $3 at Goodwill, Shadow Warrior was $1 at Goodwill, and the PS1/PS2-Neo Geo controller adapter was $20 offline.

Also snagged this as it was being put out on the shelves:

I'm guessing that's Elmer's glue stuck under the screen, but it had Sonic 2 in the cart slot and works. Priced at $1, it was a good alternative to the $40 ones they sell around here.
