3 Play N Trade locations have opened/are opening up near my immediate area(within 30 minutes), so I went to the 2 that have opened so far. Only found stuff at one of the locations, but I'd say it was a good find.

-Prices with discount card I picked up today-

    Final Fantasy Legend 3(SunSoft)- GameBoy - Mint/Complete - 8.99
Killer Instinct NOT FOR RESALE - GB - Cart only - 2.69
    B.C. Quest for Tires - Colecovision - Cart only - 1.79
    B.C. II Grog's Revenge - Colecovision - Cart only - 1.79
Super Punch Out - SNES - Cart only - 4.49

Not bad for not having any finds in a while.

Kicked off 2010 by overpaying for a 2600 game:

Dig Dug (cart only) - $1.50

I also bought a loose Wico Red Ball joystick for the 2600 for $2.

    All for $12.

Picked up a sealed copy of Dr. Mario off Craigslist for $25.

What's more interesting was the fact that he had a sealed and pristine copy of Super Mario RPG for SNES. I tried to get him to part with it for $100, which he considered but ended up saying no to.

    Finds:

Yet ANOTHER USB extension cable - $2
The Guyver and The Guyver II (live action movies) on VHS - 50 cents for both
Dark Side Of The Moon / Wizard of Oz DVD-R thing + a random Jack The Ripper puzzle game - $1

That was it. Nothing much else around...

My first find for 2010 was Great Wall Street Fortune Hunt for $5. Now all I'm missing is Power Lords then I'll finally have a complete, mostly cart only U.S. O2 collection!

What's with the gold Game Genie? I thought they only came black. Is any version worth anything in particular?

Yeah, I noticed that it is an AT&T power supply, probably from an answering machine or phone system. Before I bought it from the "no-returns" store, I plugged it in and made sure that it worked, which it does. Is there something else I should be worried about with the PS?

Dark Side of the Rainbow. I completely forgot about that, I still haven't seen the whole thing yet. Nice find.

That's an NES Game Genie, they all look like that. I've never seen a black one before.

They don't look all like that. Search around for images... there are black ones.

    Uh.

That's not black. That's gold, but it looks dark because of the scanner.

It is different. That one there is made by Camerica. The other gold one is a Galoob one. I had no idea Camerica even made Game Genies.

Nice finds at the Goodwill today:

Genesis Model 1 w/ Sega CD Model 2 (No cords, controllers) - 6.99

    NES Games - $1.99 each:
    -Bubble Bobble
    -Zoda's Revenge
    -Ninja Gaiden II
    -Burgertime
    -Mega Man 6
    -1942
    -AD&D Pool of Radiance

PS1 Longbox Games (I LOVE longbox games )- $2.99 each:
    -Doom
    -Ridge Racer
    -D

    War of the Monsters (PS2) - $3.99

I was pretty sure the Sega CD was shot, but they gave me a 10-day return window for it. It was pretty dusty and neglected looking, and then when I got it home I noticed that it had no screws on the bottom (I'm assuming someone tried working on it). But after pulling the correct power supplies from another Genesis and my Master System the whole unit fired right up and seems to work great, I tested a couple of games real quick and everything booted right up. I'll clean it out since it's open and then find some replacements screws, and then it's probably going up for sale or trade since I already have an X'eye.

Galoob was the US distributor for Camerica.

The Camerica version is Canadian. That's the only difference, they're all gold.
