Let me assure you that playing a simulation game with a wheel IS better than with a controller. It simply is. I am talking about simulations games like Forza or whatever. Try to counter-steer with a controller to control your drift, let me know how it goes.

Same for Shmups, using an arcade stick is 10 time more precise than using a controller, it is so easy to evade bullets with a good stick.

Fighting games also can benefit greatly from an arcade stick. Pulling out combos is easier.

This game is incredibly fun, I wish the demo had online multiplayer though because I would then be able to play with me and my buddies from far away, we all like the game. I will be buying this game for a few reasons:

    1.) Banjo Kazooie
    2.) SEGA MILES!!!

That explains it. After four races I only managed to get up to second place. It reminded me of the Star Wars: Masters of Teras Kasi demo. It too was set to it's hardest setting and when you won you felt good about it

Which version do you guys think I should get, Wii or PS3? It's such a tough call for me. Do I choose graphics or control?

I would think it would control just as well on PS3. And yet the graphics probably won't be a huge difference.

It come with the wheel on the Wii. Since I am one of those who actually like using the wheel on Mario Kart Wii, I am leaning toward the Wii version.

Isn't that just a circular piece of plastic that doesn't do anything? Meanwhile the PS3 has actual analog racing wheels available.

A lot agree with you, but a lot like myself prefer to use the wheel on Mari Kart Wii, claiming it makes a difference. I guess it's all personal taste.

We've already gotten racing wheels with Mario Kart Wii, GT Pro Series, and a few others. They all do the same thing (i.e., nothing).

So you'd rather it be $50 and pay more?

You obviously don't have a desk, otherwise you'd appreciate the need for a good paperweight as much as the rest of us do.

It seems there's a contest/promotion for this game, but it's only available for those in the US.

My copy isn't coming till later today (Amazon shipped this game's copies out a bit late) but from what I've heard it's really good and a good substitute for Mario kart if you have a 360/PS3.

I heard that All Stars moves are disabled online though, which kinda sucks.
And don't bring up that stupid girlie Aladdin rip off! Shantea?

I really love this game ! The track designs are awsome and very original.

It's alot like mariokart wii If it were more fun and had sega characters. One cool thing is that all of the tracks are designed around sega games. ( sonic green hills, curien mansion from house of the dead, sonic spinball) The controls are nice and tight and the graphics are pretty solid too.

The drift feature works great and it's alot of fun trying to pull of multiple quick drifts while going around sharp corners that come one after another. The game unlocks tracks and characters as rewards for winning championships and also pays you for everything you do so that you can unlock things you want in a hurry. Each character has a special attack that is fun to use. I would recommend this to anyone who likes racing games and say that is was worth every penny.

I rented it and played a few hours this week before returning it. Good game I wouldn't pay 50-60 for it by any means (40 or less is fine) and found it quite good say an 8 out of ten. That said mario kart wii is still king

I wouldn't say that this is better than the SNES Mario Kart or the 64 version, but I do feel it is by far better than the Wii version.

I'm playing it more and having much more fun with it than I did Wii Mario Kart.

I first played this at a SEGA event in NYC, and instantly knew that it was for me.

If feels very much like a classic SEGA arcadey style game. In fact, it feels very much like a Dreamcast title, if that makes a lick of sense.
