I recently picked up a laserdisc p.o.p. for the Turbografx from 1990 and as I don't currently have a laserdisc player, I was wondering if any of you had one of these and if there is a link to a video of it online anywhere that I might have missed.

Are you referring to the Pioneer Laseractive?
No, It's just a laserdisc about the turbografx that stores would play to show the features of the product. I can't watch it though to see exactly what is on it as I don't have a laserdisc player.
I think it is probably a regular laserdisc - there were some regular ones that had clips from video games and would play on any regular laserdisc machine . I know sega and nec had some.
When I come home from a long day in Hell, there's nothing I'd rather reach for than a fire-brewed bottle of Styx Beer. Made from the filthiest waters from our own River Styx. Styx Beer is a third more toxic than any other regular beer. The worst beer - the filthiest beer - the deadliest beer. It's Styx Beer!
Aw man, that's so cool, I've always wanted one of those POP LDs. PM me if you want to sell it.
I have a laserdisc player as well, if you want I can view it for ya and possibly get a video if i can figure out my camera, no sound though
I'll consider lending out my DAC-200 for ripping the video if there's serious interest in doing this.
Of course it is.
I'm a bit surprised to hear stores were using LDs for POPs, must be an upscale kind of thing.
Anyway, anybody who wanted to "rip" the video could check this out:

No need to use a camera (I assume you're talking about the input jacks, and not pointing a camcorder at a TV which would be terrible). Again, what I put at the top of my post applies.

I have a NES LD that does the same thing. I'd imagine a TG-16 one would be an extremely rare item.

If I HAD an LD player I'd do it for the cost of shipping the item to me and back. My capture setup is pretty simple and it wouldn't take me more than two days to do this. >
It shouldn't be too much trouble for me to get it transferred locally into avi or another format.
According to the label the recording is only 6:11 minutes long and repeats a few times.

Actually no I was just talking about my 150 dollar 12 megapixel camera that has a video function is all, if someone can do it better than by all means. Ive never used the video function with this one so I dont know how good it is.
