Or, to be exact, G.I. Joe, since they kind of took care of the Weather Dominator.
The Red Dawn remake is about China invading the U.S. Undoubtedly there will be a video game tie-in.
Propaganda pamphlet from the movie.
Well, that's the problem. Initiating a war is never the good or right thing. Defending from an invasion is completely different.
China 'liberating' the US... That smacks of irony no?

What about defending from an invasion by initiating a war? It's the weak excuse often given in REAL LIFE! Sometimes fact is stranger than fiction!
BTW, I'm not defending Chavez's attack on games, games all too often get the blame for social wrongs. BUT, I can fully understand why he's angry.
I think this blog says it better than I can about the amount of propaganda in war sims:

I honestly always took whatever locations used in games as less of some political statement and more of a "where is someplace besides the standard middle east/eastern Europe stuff that would make a plausible setting?".
And call me "naive" or whatever, but these "war" games pretty much boil down to setting up a basic "vs match" survival game where the enemy is interchangeable. It doesn't matter if the bad guys are terrorists, aliens, or zombie farm animals...the gameplay remains pretty much the same.
