Default The Famiclones Vs. Super Mario Bros. 2

I want to buy a famiclone that can play all three Super Mario Bros. games with as little problems as possible.

The FC Twin cannot play my copy of SMB2.

The Retro Duo CAN play my SMB2, but I willingly lost it to my cousin in a trade.

Since you guys know all about this stuff, I'll ask you this:

-From your experience with famiclones, which ones can play SMB1, SMB2, and SMB3 with little to no problems? Preferably just NES famiclones, not NES/SNES or NES/Genesis.

-I also want to buy a portable famiclone so that I can play these three games on the go. The FC Mobile II looks nice. Can it play all three games with little to no problems as well?

Really, you're best off just getting a Top loader or NES Toaster with a new 72-pin connector. Much more reliable than any clone.

Or if you do want to stick with a clone, go with the Messiah NeX. That clone can play Famicom and NES games, and from what I've seen, it's pretty good.

I'll take your advice on the home console part, but I'd still like to know if the portable famiclone (the FC-Mobile II) can play all three games.

From what I understand, there's two versions of Super Mario Bros. 2. One of them may have trouble playing on a famiclone.
