I'm the same weirdo that posted the NES reproduction labels.
Here's my first shot at an SNES label!
Requests are still welcome.
Thanks for looking, and tell me what you think!

That looks pretty nice! Too bad it isn't a reality though.
It isnt bad but somehow it feels a bit boring. If you can find a shot with more charcters or more action, try that for the next one.
Thank you. I'm not sure what you mean though. Haha.
Ah. Will add! Thanks!
I'll agree. It is a little plain with just 1 character and a background. Haha. I'll make an alternate version as well. Thanks for your input! It's greatly appreciated.
I like it...except the background doesn't seem to match (i.e. it doesn't look like an anime-ish background), but beyond that, it's nice.
Btw, regarding the ratings...Dragon Quest V came out in Japan in '92...I don't recall games carrying an ESRB rating that far back (as was mentioned, the ratings were instituted in the middle or late middle of the SNES's lifespan, circa mid '94). If you were to put a rating on it, I'd probably put a K-A rating on it, for the sake of continuity with most SNES RPG releases of the day (as most of those that got rated were rated K-A).

@Hewmanoid - I meant to convey the message that it is an awful shame that the game was never released back then outside of Japan.
I think it looks neat - I wouldn't change anything.
I agree, I think it looks pretty great as-is.
Thank you. I had the background turned into an "oil painting", but when I scaled it down, it became a lot clearer again. I think it needs some tweeking as well. As far as the rating, I'll put one on and see how it looks!
I got ya now! It is. This label was mainly for the handfuls of reproductions floating around the internet.
Thank you!
Thank you as well!
I agree with the idea that the background looks odd. To me it looks like a photo of a hill side with trees. Also wasn't the Enix logo purple?
Condoleezza Rice is nice, but I prefer A Roni!
ESRB and remedied background.

If you want it to be really authentic, the serial code should be "SNS-D5-USA", which is what it would be if it really got released. "SNS-DQV-USA" is not a valid SNES serial code.
Also, assuming that this game would have come out in 1992-1993, there would not have been an ESRB code.
<Evan_G> i keep my games in an inaccessable crate where i can't play them
If you want it to have a real authentic feeling, you need to change the entire title to Dragon Warrior V.
It looks cool, but, yeah, the Enix logo should be purple. In Japan they used green, but they used purple for US-released SNES games. Look up Actraiser or Brain Lord or such.
And "Warrior" would indeed be fitting. The fonts they used for the US NES releases wouldn't look right, but the GBC releases and Dragon Warrior VII mimicked the Japanese style so you could try editing one of those.
Looks good! I have been looking around for a Final Fight 3 label for a while now. The label on my cart is destroyed.
They couldn't, Dragon Quest was trademarked or registered or copyright protected back in the 90's. Square-Enix wasn't able to get the Dragon Quest title for themselves in North America until the 2000's. Dragon Quest VIII for the PS2 was our first Quest titled game in the franchise.
I always preferred the name "Dragon Warrior" to "Dragon Quest" :P
The 2nd picture made me think of how oddly placed the ESRB ratings are on SNES games!
