    Default DS universal ac adapter

I bought the ds universal ac adapter to use with my gba since the backing can't fit the gba. I plug in the charger and no power. It does fit it both ways and works with my brothers ds. So is there a problem with my gba or am I using the adapter wrong?

Unless your GBA is a GBAsp, there is no rechargable battery for it to work with.
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.
