Why does it move like a flight sim, when it seems playing a racing game? It doesn't really match what's happening on screen. It's a cool device though, don't get me wrong.

I think that the motions are supposed to be mimicking the feeling you'd get in a real car - thrown backwards accelerating, forwards when braking, and to the outside of the curve when cornering

Pretty cool. And takes up surprisingly little space for what it is. I just hope they come from some engineering or manufacturing background and didn't just jury rig the thing together, otherwise bad things could happen.

I'm wondering if it's a motorcycle game which would make the corners a lot more intense, but that doesn't account for the fact that you're at 60 degrees while accelerating lol

It's not moving forward at speed so you have to get the feel for acceleration somehow. Jerking around like that is probally the only way to get that propper feeling.

Or it could simply be that exact movements would be boring and it's a heck of a lot more fun this way.

I was on this movie ride thing once, it moved like that, and it was fully enclosed. When you're not aware of your orientation to the ground, it feels pretty real.

So yeah, this thing looks goofy, but race cars pull mad G's yo.

Imagine something like this with WipEout? Seems to me like this thing would be better suited to any flight game.
