Hardcore games for current-gen consoles are tough to come by these days. Even retro-remakes are pathetically easy in terms of difficulty (for instance NSMB Wii). With Spyborgs (Wii) at a very cheap retail of $10 and with a challenge level close to that of an NES title, it still gets no love whatsoever. Critics with their heads up their asses and not even a thousand copies of it sold. People are just wusses and "can't handle" real difficulty these days or otherwise this (and a few other modern games) would sell better, even if the game has a more kid-friendly appeal than other hardcore games. It's sort of like the Rayman effect- cute, kid styled game but a real challenge to finish. Anybody else agree with me?
