It's music notation software. A few years ago, I would have KILLED to have that. I used version 3 right up through University.

Got a DOS game, "Final Orbit" in the mail today from eBay. Odd, because I ordered Alien Syndrome. Thankfully it worked out and the seller is sending out the correct game tomorrow and letting me keep this one.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention, I got this Nishijin Model B Pachinko machine from the early 1970's for $25 on Sunday. Pretty fun, but only came with 20 balls.

Nice shape. Vintage pachinko restoration can be an interesting journey.

The box says it's for making actual songs (as well as notation). I dunno.

I tossed it on eBay, maybe someone can use it to upgrade to whatever version they're up to right now.

Eat them. After decades on the shelf marinating in their own preservatives they might actually give you some Mario powers.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY AVATAR PIC: "Space" Ace Frehley turns 59 today and he's STILL rockin! Now, onto the game stuff:

Not picture worthy, but from Half Price Books I picked up:

Magic the Gathering: Battlegrounds (Xbox) $2.00
    Rocky (Xbox) $3.98
    Gauntlet: Dark Legacy (Xbox) $3.98
    Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows (Xbox) $3.98
    Destroy All Humans! (xbox) $3.98
    Dynasty Warriors 3 (xbox) $2
All complete and in nice shape. I'll be returning the Seven Sorrows, though as I already have it in better shape.

    From Goodwill I picked up:

WWF Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game (SNES) loose $2
Laserline CD storage carousel - 192 game capacity $5
Been organizing my collection, so this will be the new home for my Dreamcast games!

I ended up taking it to the flea market and it sat around ALL DAY and someone finally gave me $10 for it. I'm sorta regretting selling it now since I now have the space and it was a really nice 70s machine. I've only seen one since and it was new and pretty messed up (LCD screen was broken badly).

Goodwill lot sale again today, and this stuff came all out of one box:

2600 Fast Food (fair label, standard casing) - $0.50
    5200 Realsports Tennis - $0.50
    5200 Pac-Man - $0.50
    5200 power/Rf switchbox (no adapter) - $0.50
    C64 tape drive - $1.00

It's kinda odd just that stuff was there, and nothing else. You'd expect a few more games, but maybe the others ended up sitting at a Goodwill store for $7.99 a piece . Tennis and Pac-Man aren't particularly interesting and Fast Food's label is worn so perhaps Goodwill felt that they weren't "good enough" to sell. The Fast Food is going on my shelf with my other 2600 games. It'll be a good home there.

I'm guessing the 5200 power/Rf box is somewhat hard to find because it's proprietary, so I grabbed that as well.

Other than that I didn't find any other game stuff. I got some eBay stuff: 2 pieces of Lafayette stereo equipment, a Bose iPod dock power adapter, and a few other things.

I'm jealous. The two things I look out for other than games are Muscles and Micro Machines. I never have luck finding Muscles and I hardly find any Micro Machines.

Checked out a pawn shop yesterday. This place is about 20 blocks down the street from me, but I'd never been in there. Turns out I wasn't missing out on much, as about 90% of their stock was at least a few bucks more than I'd be willing to pay. However, I did leave the store with one SNES game:

    Fatal Fury 2 (cart only) - $3.99

Check out the new N64 Rumble Pak. See how it feels to feel what you see.

All complete; $2 each at a thrift.

$25 at a video game store I found near my new work. The APF cart is complete with the styrofoam block.

Unless you're curious as to how crappy it is, don't waste the money. The game is total garbage.
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.
