Default How Do I play PAL Mega CD games on a JVC XEye/ US SCD

For a long time I have been searching for a way to play my PAL/UK Mega CD games on either my JVC X-Eye or my SEGA CDX.

I have not found a way to play the PAL Mega CD games on my JVC X-Eye or my SEGA CDX.

I can play JAP and PAL cartridges, but I can't play the Mega CD games.

Is there anyone out there in the Classic Gaming World, who can give me a proven, tested way (from their experience) to play PAL Mega CD games on USA NTSC Sega CDX or JVC X-EYE consoles ?

I have chased alot of threads and sites telling me that this converter or that adapter will do the job, But I have found nothing YET that helps me out.

    HELP.

Only way i know is to rip, patch, and burn, which is also unreliable I hear.

Supposedly there is a genesis flashcart kind of thing that somehow does it, but I haven't heard solid info on that either. It's a good question that does need a true answer.

The Megacart seems to be a good option:

Not sure if there's a game compatibility list anywhere though, I would like to get one of these myself.

I know there's a way to piggyback different BIOS roms flashed on eproms (or eeproms? not sure) and switch/cycle trough them with a switch on actual Sega CD models, not sure if there's a similar mod available for the CDX and/or the X-eye.

Agreed. Merged with the 1 day old thread.
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.

Tototek's MegaCart has 100% compatibility with the M/Sega CD console, and the CDX also if I'm not mistaken.

There is no PAL bios for the JVC X'Eye, for the CDX you can do this http://blog.wolfsoft.de/?p=478 or on both systems to play US/JPN/PAL CD's use the Megacart. With the cart there is no need to modify either system.
