Ah, gizmondo and game.com. I always seem to get those confused. Yeah I remember now, the game.com had a crappy Duke Nukem port and Sonic Jam.

Edit: I think the tg-16 had around 65 games, actually. Oh, and as for the guy talking about the MVS, yeah I'm consolizing a 2 slot, so far I got the sound working and all I need is to get an RGB to NTSC converter.

Yup, sorry -- the DP pages I thought were 50 / page, but they are 100 / page. Regardless, the Genesis line up is no where near a 'small' one.

Growing up I owned a NES and SNES and feel I have played them to death over the last 20-25 years.

About a year ago I started collecting Megadrive (Genesis) games. My reason for this was that I never owned one growing up, yet was always interested in the system.

The library is good, and there is alot of games on the megadrive that were not cross platform.

One of the big advantages of collecting for this system to me is that I didnt want to collect carts only. I wanted boxed games. For this reason, it is a great system to collect for.

Almost everything (except for some later titles) are all boxed in a plastic casing, so it is alot easier to find complete copies of games for the system then for example a NES or SNES where the boxes were paper and generally either discarded or treated like trash.

I will say, collect whatever you intend to play and have the most interest in. If you are only collecting for the sake of it you will get over it and probably have buyers remorse.

So yeah, IMO collect whatever has some personal meaning to you or whichever system has the most games you would like to play.

Can I throw a new option in to the mix? How about collecting for Colecovision? It's an awesome console and you'd have a blast with a good portion of the game catalog.
