Default Nintendo now selling Gameboy Player start-up discs

A heads-up for anyone that has imported a GB Player. You can now buy loose US start-up discs from Nintendo for $15. They should work fine with the Japanese Players from what I hear:

I think I'll import a platinum Player now after I've seen this. I was really pissed at Nintendo for not offering it in different colors in the US and I didn't want to use a Freeloader for a imported one.

Whatever. Guess you can't cut 'n paste the link. It's on Nintendo's site in shop section for anyone that cares. Just go to Gamecube accessories.

Man, what a pain in the ass website to navigate. Whoever designed that online store needs to be punched in the throat.

But it is there, thanks for the heads up.

I think my platinum GC is gonna look pretty cool with a black base.

Nice of Nintendo to offer the boot disc seperate for all the importers though

Yeah, I'm surprised they are selling the disk seperate. Maybe hey figure that .50 in plastic they can sell for $15 and not even have to package the hardware.....Ah well, both parties are happy.

Besides, you gotta figure that little Jimmy is gonna thrash a boot disk now and then in a Pokemon-inspired frenzy.
