I did ask (somewhat tongue-in-cheek) last month if there was someone local to UC who could verify some of these amazing finds. I guess not. Seems like he doesn't have a lot of time on his hands, but a lot of extra money for ebay? I just went back to see some previous finds and surprisingly the pics and info are gone...

I was kidding when I said people were jealous btw. It does seem like quite a few of your items came from Ebay though.
Post of the year material, allyourblood.
Stopped by a church bazaar on my way home from work this morning. I have had good luck at this sale in the past and today was no exception.
Prima guide for Legend of Spyro A New Beginning - $.25
B&W Video Now player with 1 disk - $1
Translucent purple GBC - no battery door - $.75
Legend of Zelda Oracle of Ages cart - Free with GBC
Spore - Limited edition bundle for PC - Sealed - $3
Samsung S221 DVD player - $3
Panasonic TV/VCR/FM Radio combo - $5
The DVD player and TV combo work fine and have their remotes. The DVD player seems to be a pretty good one. But for $3 who can complain?
JY
Edit: Turns out the Spore thing is just a couple of books. One is the official game guide, the other is a hard back book called 'Spore: The Evolution' which talks all about the development of the game. Oh well, still not bad for $3.

You seem confident. Probably found it from craigslist, Amazon, or some non-ebay auction site.

The point is that SOME of the items in your pictures are obviously not what you said. When you say "All from the thrift for $1 each" and one of the items is posted from ebay and it cost you $4, then the whole lot is now in question. Your finds are so astronomical sometimes that they inherently bring up questions as to their validity. Now you've been caught stretching the truth in one find post and all of those old suspicions have been verified. This thread is about posting finds, whether cheap or expensive, that you are proud of - it's never been a contest to see who has the best deal. Apparently you didn't see that, so congratulations you win! You're the man! I'm sure you will continue to post your "finds" but I for one will just move on to the next post.

I am willing to bet anything that those are not even sealed. Many NES games are still commonly found with the cello intact and just the top is cut open. Look in your first pic you conveniently cut of the top of the picture, so the top of the boxes can not be seen. In your next pictures your hand is conveniently blocking the top of the box. Sealed games, I call BS on this.
