Wow. I was amazed to see this story fall into my lap, but it's all there, with pics, and video later.

A factory sealed NBA 2 Ball was purchased, open, played and displayed a while ago by me.

I just never updated the site.
The variant in the article, unless it isn't the same person, was posted here (I think) with the original poster never contacting me even though I emailed them asking for information.
JJ Games got in contact with me saying someone else had a copy of it.
Right now we're at 5 known copies - the problem being no one knows if #4 and #5 are the same person.
I'll have to read the article and see where they found theres.
Interesting story and video guys. Cool stuff and certainly this appears to be a time for those super rare and one-of-a-kind games and items to be popping up.

As I posted in the link to the article you found/wrote GRG this copy may have shown up here as well about a year ago.

Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.

He never mentioned to me at anytime he listed it anywhere. I do wonder if it is the same guy now. He seemed completely clueless as to is value when he first contacted me. Hmm. I wonder.
Got an e-mail from the original developer too. Going to see if he is willing to do an interview as well. Such an odd piece of PS history.
Wait...by original developer do you mean Paul Blagay? I interviewed him early on:

Ugh, the html banner stuff is all broken, but that's him.
Still got the copy of NBA 2 Ball, the guy that sold his isn't me. So there are 5 copies of the demo out there, 4 working ones and that one that's in two pieces, I believe.
$710 makes this the most expensive PS1 demo out there....for now.
