Default American Unlicensed (Non bootleg) GBC Carts

    Hey All,

Auction isn't mine, but it's a hell of a conversation piece.

I figured Game Boy Collectors would get a kick out of this. I used to work at Interact / GameShark before Interact closed it's doors and there was a few months where a daughter company was selling non-licensed GBC games from a mail order shop. I'm pretty sure there were only these 6 - one of the hackers had to write up reviews of them.

Essentially they're new never used games that only about 20 people in the world new about at the time. These were never sent to retailers, but they are 100% real, produced carts (i.e. not bootlegs) from whatever company made them, all without NIntendo's approval.

The artwork alone is worth it.

Figured I'd let you guys know
    Thanks!

Tom here from the boards sent my brother a copy of Karate Joe.

It was an ok game, to be honest. If I recall, wasn't it bundled in a magazine in the UK?

I've got Karate Joe and Space Invasion on one cart here myself. According to this blog post they were given away with the last issue of GBX magazine in the UK. It's highly likely the other four games were also present in pairs on other carts given away with that issue, but I've not seen them; only this pairing.
