Default R/C Copter: How 'bout airplanes?

Any games for PS1/2 that simulate flying R/C Airplanes?

If no, how about SNES or Genesis?

There's a game called RC Stunt Copter on PS1, but I have it rated as "ER". One of the more difficult games on PS to find.

    Default hahahahahahah!

r.c. stunt copter rare? well, i dunno; i have four of them sitting here, brand new for $25 each, if you're a-lookin for one...

recently, a second r.c. helicopter game was released on the ps one for $10- it's not as good as the shiny game, but it gets the job done for 10 bucks...

the only jet sim i know of on the ps is taito's jet de go- not released here, of course!

    Default well...

you're out of luck, then! so far (at least in japan) there's been a:

    hot air balloon sim
    paper airplane sim
    sailboat sim
    mechanical toy sim
    a few r.c. car sims

but NO plane sim to date. you'll have to get that upcoming $200 ps2 linux kit and spend a few weeks making one, i suppose...=^P

BTW, the reason I was looking for an RC Stunt Airplane game was for my local flying club. I'm the secretary, and it's part of my job to train people. I figured it would be a lot easier (and cheaper) to train them on my PS2.

    Default lawdy!

whyn't ya saaaaaaay so inna first place, lol! you wouldn't have had to put up with my idjit comments! anyway, it's such a niche genre that no one would even consider it- i spoke to some folks at xicat interactive in florida- sony passed on flying circus (seemingly because they considered it "boring")- it was a r.c. helicopter (sorry!) game that had nice control, but no explosions or boobs-a-poppin'

i love model trains, and a few million other folks seem to, but do you think some smart company would license the densya de go games out to lionel? nooooooooooooo (even though it would sell like hotcakes!) i feel for you, brother!

sky odyssey is the closest thing i can think of that was released on the u.s. ps2, i just remembered!...=^P

"Niche genre" True. And yet, we see R/C Stunt Copter and numerous R/C Racing games. So why not R/C Airplanes? Hmmm... maybe I should go beef up my PS1 programming skills!

I guess I'll just have to drag my PC to the field for simulator training. (shrug)

    Default well...

the only reason r.c. stunt copter came out was because of dave perry- the game sorta bombed retail-wise (even though it's a great game!).

r.c. car games get played more because they get lumped in with driving games, but other that taito's brilliant r.c. de go!, the controls aren't like real r.c. cars at all! personally, i'd love to see a r.c. plane game too- get crackin' on that linux kit, mate!...
