Default Adventure of Lolo 2 & 3, and then some!

I had a dream about NES games last night and kept thinking about it all day today. So later in the evening a buddy and I went to a store that I go into occasionally. I looked around in the NES section for about 5 minutes or so and nothing really caught my eye. So I started to look into the Genesis section and up on top of the shelf lay Lolo 2 & 3. Needles to say, I quickly picked them up and opened them up to check everything out. Realizing what a freaking sweet find it was I got 'em. I looked around the store some more and found the NES case. Never seen one, so for $2.99 I got it. Picked up Yoshi's Safari and the SNES Game Genie there to. Walked out of there and only spent $31. Not bad considering everything was 25% off too. We hit up another store and I got the "How To Win At Nintendo Games #2" book for literally 30 cents. Also scored Deadly Towers, Infiltrator, Spider-Man Return of the Sinister Six, and Bard's Tale for around $15.

Just thought I'd also share some pics to go along with this story.

My NES collection as of now.

I have that NES guide. One game I remember it has in there is Blaster Master, which is where I learned how to pause the game when fighting certain bosses.
Everything in the above post is opinion unless stated otherwise.

Nice finds! Lolo is probably the single greatest puzzle series ever. I mean REAL puzzles, not "falling block/jelly blob" puzzle.
I had to resort to eBay to find Lolo 3 after years of unsuccessful flea market trips (I got impatient and tired of flea market dealers)... I paid $20 for a boxed copy, which is still pretty reasonable I guess... for eBay.
It is pretty sweet to own the complete trilogy.

Nice finds at an awesome price... especially at a Play N' Trade! Those probably would've cost me fifty bux apiece at my local PNT...

Luckily at my local Play N' Trade they just jack up the prices on games like SMB3, Zelda, etc. So I can usually score the actual rare/uncommon games for cheap.

I haven't gotten to play them yet. I own the first one and just haven't found the time to play it either. I actually have two copies of the the first Lolo. Forgot I all ready owned it and picked up another copy.

The graphics in Deadly Towers suck, and the play control too, but the music is awesome. No fair crying about it being too hard. If you use the EF password cheat, it's actually a really fun game to run through, no joke. Never did it legitimately, but one of these days I will.

When I was young, I wondered for years about the mysteries of this game and what the last boss was like (or any boss!) since he was blacked out in the instruction book, and it was too hard to get ANYWHERE in this game. When I finally saw the cheat published in Nintendo Power, it was great to get so many mysteries about this game off my back.

I think the dungeons were the worst part about the game. They were huge and mapping them was nearly impossible. Also, they weren't really needed...they took away from the fun of the game.

To the OP, great finds, congrats!
