    Default Jaguar Painter on cart?

I recently stumbled on this Ebay auction and was about to bid, but held back.

It's Painter for the Atari Jaguar in cart form:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

All the info I found was relating to the game in CD format, not cartridge.

Does anyone have information about this? I would have loved a copy, but since I found no information, I held back.

    Any ideas? Differences?

Could be, and I'm just posting this without doing research, that The Removers or JagWare done some carts from the CD version.

It's legit and from the author. Has some bug fixes from the original CD version and some extra levels added. But I think there's still an NTSC bug on one of the later levels... there was going to be a cart fix offered but I don't know if it ever happened. The game is tough and I haven't made it to the affected level yet.

    Thanks for the info, tomwaits!

One day I hope to obtain this cart. Is it rare? How is the gameplay? Looks like Amidar.

I think 50 carts were made initially, and there's supposed to be another small batch once the bug is fixed. Original price was 45GBP shipped to the US.

Gameplay is similar to Amidar or Pepper 2... re-paint all sides of every block to fill them in while avoiding the enemies. There are a lot of levels that resemble real objects or Atari related images. Simple & fun to play homebrew game but probably not worth $150 shipped. The CD version is usually cheaper, if you have a Jaguar CD unit.

I must say that is pretty cool. I'd assume it'd be somewhat rare. Hope you find another one, dude!
