    I did garage sales today....

Not much game stuff but I did get a few interesting electronics. The most notable things were a Keytek CTS-400 synthesizer and a pair of Pioneer Monitor 10II headphones.

Keytek was a line of keyboards made by the independant synthesizer company, Siel. These synths were made in the late 80s in Italy. Siel went bankrupt not too long after starting the Keytek line, and Roland bought them out. My synthesizer is FILTHY, and will need a good cleaning. It's an interesting thing, I could tell it was an 80s synth, and when I saw it was made in Italy it piqued my interest. It was only $5 so I couldn't leave it. This was at a church sale. It looks like a digital synthesizer, and it's very light. I don't know what to expect this thing to sound like....

The second notable thing was a pair of Pioneer Monitor 10II headphones. For all my recording I use AKG K240 Monitor headphones, btw. I almost left them but something made me do a quick Google search on this model of headphones. Looks like the Pioneer Monitor 10 headphones are very good, fidelity wise, and they bring a pretty penny on eBay. Mine is a transitional model, and I haven't been able to find much information about them. They look cool nevertheless, and I might end up using them. They were $5.

Oh, and for some GODFORSAKEN REASON I bought a "Sponk" boglin today, with the original box, $1.

I just realized that the CTS-400 uses some ridiculous 5 or 6 pin power supply. I've never seen anything like it! It doesn't help that it's an obscure model synthesizer by an even more obscure maker. I'm going to have to get out the screwdriver, open it up, and see if it's marked on the circuit board. It going to be a lot of trouble to manually wire power to it, if that's even possible.

    all at yard sales

Black Dahlia, Time Machine, Sonic Mega Collection disc only - $2 total, originally $2 each. Looks like Time Machine is worthless but I can sell Black Dahlia for 10 bucks or so. Keeping Sonic

5 bucks total for the N64 and NES. One of the NES controllers has a cool sticker on it

TI-83 Plus and TI-84 Plus for $5 total. 83 turns off after a second if it is moved at all, if I can't get it to work I can still get $50 for the 84 so I don't really care.

NHL 03, Namco Museum, Wipeout 3 and Seaman were 25 cents each. DIdn't really want them but the money was going to a youth group and they were only a quarter, so why not?

NFS, Spyro, and Blast Lacrosse discs only were $1 each at St Vincent De Paul Thrift

Stopped at my church's thrift on the way to mail some trades. They mark all CDs $2...

L'Arc~en~Ciel - Awake (Tofu Records US Edition)
-This is a nice release... comes with a separate little booklet of romanized lyrics. Good stuff.

Utada - Exodus (Island US Edition)
-Not sure what to think of this one. Hearing her in English reminds me of '97-2000 female pop. Meh.

    Mortal Kombat Trilogy (PSX GH)
-A bit scratched, but plays fine. Already threw this one up on Goozex.

Definitely some stuff I didn't expect to find there. I was absolutely stunned to see some JRock in the CD bin. Not import, but at least they're not the usual bootlegs!

    It's not even remotely current...

I have that beat up Mario Party Gamecube disc from a few days ago, but not much else.

Just hold onto it, or something. I'll send you a PM. :P

    Gamestop:

    Gamecube: Pikmin 2
    Gamecube: Gotcha Force
Gamecube: Mega Man X: Command Mission
    Gamecube: Baten Kaitos Origins
    Gamecube: Metroid Prime
    Gamecube: Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
    Gamecube: SSX Tricky
    Gamecube: Soul Caliber 2
Gamecube: Pac Man World 2/Pac Man Vs.

Eh, it's Gamestop. Certainly not the worst I could do...

Plus, I think I had to take the plunge for Pikmin 2. I don't regret it at all, as I've wanted to play it for years.

Game Boy brick in yellow (original case) with assortment of GB/GBC/GBA carts (yup, all together) for $10
Keeping the system and super hunchback (lol?) The rest I already have.
Alpha Centauri and 2 music cd's from a thrift

Mario PVC Figurines, brand new. These are the figures you could get at Sunoco Gas Stations. From 1989.

Lego Minifigs $1 for all at a yardsale. I will ALWAYS buy lego that's cheap, especially minifigs. I love this stuff, but really only collect a few series (Ninja, pirate and knight) So these will probably be going up for sale too.

Plastic container free(to use for pocketbike bolts)

The FIRST thing I ran into was Bikes,a cool vintage kids bike and a TREK 230..Price $45.00..I was the third person to ask it's price walking up to it,. I liked it so I bought it.(from old lady)..I can't tell you how many people asked me about the bike,it's really nice and rides like a dream..I've always wanted a TREK

    Default Yardsales 6-5-10

Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition, The (Complete)
Mario Kart Double Dash With Bonus Disc (Complete)

    $12

I asked about video games at a house Friday and the lady said her husband might have some stuff he'd be willing to put out for sale so I stopped back pretty early Saturday. Sounded like the husband had some older systems but all that he wanted to sell was a GameCube ($30) and a few games. Games were marked $2 except Zelda which was $10. I was thinking of at least offering $10 for both but just decided to pay what they were asking since they actually rounded something up which usually doesn't happen when I come back to a sale the next day when they say they do/may have something.

GameCube Game Disc Soft Case - $1
    Activision Plug & Play - $1 (IAP)
Crash Bandicoot Playstation Trilogy - $4 (Complete Except 1st Game Which Is Disc Only)
    3D Action Pak (Sealed, Macintosh) - .50
Dreamcast With 2x First Party Controllers - $1

The GC thing was actually from Friday & I forgot to add it to yesterday's picture and was IAP. The Crash trilogy was from an unadvertised sale, asked about games and the guy had a PS1 and a few games he brought out with these that we agreed on $4 for. 3D Action Pak was a buck and took .50. The Dreamcast I really shouldn't have bought as it looks bad, I usually pass these up if they ain't dirt cheap since they could be broken but I couldn't resist the asking price of a buck.

Nintendo 64 With Hookups, 3x Gray 1st Party Controllers, 1st Party Rumble Pak, Generic 4 Meg Expansion & 3 Games

    Mario Kart 64
    Mortal Kombat Trilogy
    Star Wars: Rogue Squadron

    $5

Oddly enough I found this at the very last sale I went to today at about 12:45 sitting out with Mario Kart in the system and a $5 price right on the system. I didn't ask how but I don't see a nice little system bundle like this sitting out all day for $5 so I'm guessing it got marked down late or was just brought out late and was marked cheap as to better the odds of it selling and not coming back inside.

Found a bunch of different games for $1.99 at different Goodwills yesterday:

The N64 Madden games were complete, the PS2 game is sealed, and The Greatest American Hero season 1 was $4.99.

Then this morning, I found a rummage sale that had some games:

Family Guy for the PSP was $5.00, and the Gameboy SP was in a baggie with the charger and 4 games for $10.00.

    Got these today:

    3DO Games Secrets- $4
    Pokemon Snap- $2
    Jet Force Gemini- $1
    Stampede (Intellivision)- $1

I don't even own a 3DO, I just love old strategy guides, and this one was in good condition, plus it has tips for some multiplatform games.

Pokemon Snap is literally the first Pokemon game I ever played, and I kind of like it. I should check out the main series.

Jet Force Gemini, I haven't played much into this one, but it seems decent. And of course, Stampede is Stampede, which is awesome.
