Check this video I just made on my new addition to the arcade. This is a rare Exidy Max-A-Flex multigame arcade system. Watch this vid and see how cool this thing is:

Dang, that's a nice machine! I'm incredibly jealous. Especially since you ended up with a bunch of rare Atari XE games in the bargain. I've got two questions that I'm sure is on everyone's minds right now:
How much did you pay for it?
Can you use other XE cartridges in it, or are those four games specifically coded for that machine?
Incidentally, I don't know that this can be considered the first arcade multigame. The Data East Deco system had it beaten to market by almost five years.
Agh, don't blow on the cartridges! (Especially not when I'm that close!)
And for crissakes we all can read the text on the marquees, the video camera's not THAT bad
Quite amazing video otherwise, thanks.
On the subject of getting other Atari carts to work in the system, this page may have some pointers. There's a couple pictures of a cartridge modified to hold a specific type of ROM, and a rather spaghetti-lookin' pile of wires that's said to be an 800 cartridge reader. (I wouldn't make a bet, with this hardware, that it's as simple as finding the right pins to solder each end to, but you never know, maybe it's that simple).
Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, I wonder how hard it would be to unplug the cables/power adapter to the 600XL and plug in an unmodified 600XL. That is, if the cables are long enough, and if there's room inside the cab to put a loose Atari XE without removing the modded one.
I answer the question, "Are other 8-bit Atari computer carts compatible with the Max-A-Flex?"

And you found another uncommon game, Protector II. You've got some good finds in your area. Congrats! Now track down a copy of Ballblazer. I always thought that would make a great arcade game.
