The connector at the bottom of this game seems misaligned it simply won't fit in the NES properly. Is there anything I can do to make this game start up? Any of you guys have prototypes with crooked pins that you could fix?

Can you snap a picture of the pins? My Krazy Kreatures proto fits just fine and it's one of the more common protos out there.
I have two NES protos on early Atari (not Tengen) development boards that are difficult to fit in the cart slot because the PCB is slightly thicker than your average NES pcb, but nothing out of the near 100 NES protos I have seems to be "offset".
Let's see some pics!
Here it is if you can tell the pins are a bit on the lower side of the cart and I just don't know what to do.
I'm assuming the pcb isn't fitting right within the shell. It should have typical Phillips screws in the cart. Unscrew that bad Larry and reseat it. If you're still having trouble you should try testing it without the shell.
I get what you're saying now. This isn't uncommon for unlicensed games (other than Tengen) in general. Ever try putting a Color Dreams game in a top loader? Aside from the shell barely fitting, the pins are absolute pain in the ass to jam in the slot.
Pop it open and test the bare PCB.
