    Default PSOne (mini) video problem

For some reason, my original PSOne console (the baby version, or SCPH-101) has problems with video. This is relatively new, since it never did this before and I really take good care of my consoles.

The problem is as follows: no matter what AV cable I use, I see a "rolling" screen and the text is redish in color. Nothing I do fixes this. Not even new cables.

What is causing this issue? And yes, I am not using a PAL console nor a PAL TV.

I know it's easier to replace than to repair, but still, I would love to repair this somehow.

    Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Anyone? No idea what it could be? Bad capacitor? Can the console be hacked to add AV outputs?
