So how does this fit in with the new MS policy that all 3rd party releases that are simultaneous on other platforms must have exclusive 360 content?
PS3 buyers get 3 exclusive characters right off the bat, 360 gets... nothing?

The policy is that all third party releases that are simultaneously released have to either have the same amount or more content on the 360. Obviously, this policy is really only for smaller companies that either they're going to get bullied into having the same amount of content cross platform or not have their game released on the 360. It's a pretty douchebag move, but it's not as bad as what Nintendo did way back when.
Sony even requires the same thing, although only if it's not multiconsole originally. Sony has a policy that requires the game that is being ported over to have more content than the original release. They haven't required this for the HD ports, but I'm assuming because they have 16:9 and run 60fps.
Oh yeah. You're totally right. Marvel is totally a dumb mashing game.
So is TvC. Anyone can do this!
Come on, mang. You're being willfully ignorant. TvC was an arcade game first, in Japan, and had a pretty good scene for a while. MvC2 failed as an arcade game over there, but it BLEW UP over here. Wong, Yipes, Viscant, Clockw0rk, Dark Prince, ShadyK, Dios-X, Mike Ross, Rockefeller, Chunksta, Duc, Sanford... These guys came up through arcade MvC2, and they're still great players today.
I don't care if you like the game - I don't though I like to watch it- but just because you don't like it or get it doesn't mean it isn't good.
Also, we'll see some great pro player matches regardless of an arcade release. 'Tis the era of the stream: Level Up, Cross Counter, Evo2K, etc.

Yes. But like I said, Sony's been handing out incentives to developers for PS3 exclusive content.
Dead Space Extraction HD for free with Dead Space 2
Saints Row 2 with Saints Row the Third
A Steam copy of Portal 2 with the PS3 version
Kratos in MK9
And so on.
It's money. Microsoft either didn't want to match Sony or didn't think it was worth it.
Yes, but it's not set in stone. The policy is that way obviously so they can bully smaller developers who need the sales for the games they've developed. Larger publishers like Capcom, etc, probably just throw it back in Microsoft's face with "do you want the game to be a PS3 exclusive by sticking to that policy?"
Tekken X Street Fighter......hmmmm.....sounds perfect.....though VF would have also been nice....i was thinking how would they pair fighters from both SF and Tekken....tekken is more like wrestling whereas SF players have superpower but they pulled it off just fine......and the videos really look nice......its a must buy for me......
music games to play, music online game, music games free
stick game, online stick games, free stick games online
Jin, M Bison, Akuma, and Ogre were just confirmed.

I'm honestly pretty sick of Akuma, but he's such a fitting character to throw in when there's a chaotic storyline, so it makes sense to add him. I hate M. Bison because he's braindead to use in SSFIVAE but again, another important Capcom character so it makes sense.
On the other hand, Jin was pretty much a shoe in for this game, and I'm excited for that. I've always liked him and he'll definitely be someone I'll be experimenting with Day 1. Ogre, not so much
I would have loved to see Cody and Guy added.
"Ai Oboete Imasu Ka?"
There's a pretty strong rumor going around that they'll be DLC.

I'd like to see some Blanka, but everyone seems to hate him unless they play him. Hell, sometimes I hate him too, especially in a mirror match.
I'll stick to Rolento and Juri. I've been playing some CVS2 training mode Rolento to relearn his shenanigans.
Here's some early play from tournament players. It looks fun!
I'm very excited. I like what I'm seeing so far.
The Vita version of Street Fighter x Tekken will have 12 more exclusive characters. Elena, Guy, Cody, Sakura, Dudley, Blanka, Alisa, Christy, Jack, Brian, Lars and Lei. Maybe console owners should wait for the Super version releasing shortly afterwards.
Super Street Fighter X Tekken six months after initial release
Super Street Fighter X Tekken Arcade Edition nine months after initial release
Ultimate Street Fighter X Tekken a year after initial release
Street Fighter X Tekken 2 in about 2 years from now...
Brilliant! It's like they're printing money!
"Ai Oboete Imasu Ka?"
This is just lopsided shareware, really.
Instead of getting a sample of the game for free or very little money, and paying a normal price for the rest, you pay full retail for most of the game, and then you can buy the remaining content later.
It's a bit of a deceptive way to get more than regular retail price for a single game.
That being said, the amount of non-DLC content in this game is reasonable, and to me the location of the DLC data is irrelevant.
I had this pre-ordered and paid off, but refunded it and now I'm waiting to see the DLC shake-up come out in the open. I'm sick of the piecemeal approach. I can't support it anymore, even with a company I truly enjoy like Capcom.
