Default Game Boy Advance Link It Up games

I have only just been made aware of this feature and am curious what other titles make use of the Link It Up mode of the GBA(multiplayer linked games needing only one cartridge).

So far I only know of Advance Wars and Mario Kart: Super Circuit

Were there any others? Search didn't turn up much.

I think I remember doing this with the F-Zero game that was out at launch.

Also, I am moving this to Modern Gaming.

    Edit: Chu Chu Rocket, too

I never knew that, I've been useing 2 cartrigdes this whole time. It's still only for the arcade game portion though right? Nothing to get too exited about.

Sonic Advance 3 definitely does and Sonic Advance 2 might, can't remember exactly. It's a feature I've never used sadly.

It's just a cheap fix up for multiplayer, so don't get too excited. What happens is the "host" GBA transfers a limited amount of data to the "client" GBA, you have to wait, and then you can play at the same time. The catch is that options are very limited. In Mario Kart, the only character available is Yoshi, and only a few tracks. Same sort of thing thing with F-Zero.

The good thing about Advance Wars is that the game has full multiplayer with only one console, passing it around.

It's used in Puyo Pop, Columns Crown, and I'd imagine a number of other puzzle games. You do have to wait for data to transfer, and it's generally a bit more limited, but it's still a good option.

And Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga, for some strange reason.

I can confirm for Sonic Advance 1. But without more game paks, all you get is a "collect the most rings" game.

EDIT: Apparently Chessmaster can do it too. The GBA version, obviously.

Well yeah, it's still a cool option to have though. The only other system that I know this is an option for is the Lynx, and even then, I think only homebrews have taken advantage of...since it's not so much a feature as a possibility that was discovered later.

And of course the DS Though I have no idea if the PSP does.
