    Default Is it normal for a PAL SNES power block thing to get pretty hot?

    you know the plastic rectangle block between the wall socket and the console? Mine gets pretty hot while playing. Is this normal?

    It shouldnt get hot to the touch, I mean warm maybe but really hot, no, it shouldnt.

    When l use a voltage transformer it gets hot,

    it should be normal, l unplug it when am finish playin...

    Yes they all get hot. My NES one has probably been plugged in for a total of about 15 years if not more. It's no biggy so long as it's not lying in kindling

    Warm yes, varying on the ambient temperature. But if it's so hot that it hurts to touch then you have a problem.

    It can get pretty warm but should never get so hot that you can't keep your hand on it.
