Mega Man series, all of them
Final Fantasy VI and VIII
Metal Gear: The Twin Snakes (why isn't this in the collection?)
Katamari Damacy
Guilty Gear series (now that Arc has the rights back...)
Unreal Tournament '99
Ys Collection (1-7)
Front Mission
Mech Warrior
The Legend of Zelda (1986)
Blaster Master (the last one was meh)
Vagrant Story
Gate 88 (Sony and Jonathan Mak seem to be getting along rather well today...)
Wing Commander, Privateer
Yoshi's Island
Seaman
Dragon Quest I-III
Did someone change the title while I was writing this or am I just really out of it today? >_<
I just saw "HD re-release." Just disregard, I apparently can't read today.
If Nintendo gets out of the hardware business we might see those titles on a Sony console.

Although its incredibly unlikely I would really like to see a remake/rebuild of the first three Crash Bandicoot and Spyro series for the PS3. Its a total long shot since those IP have been so battered lately but I had a lotta great memories with those games and friends.
And yet, the Tomb Raider collection apparently was based on the PS2 versions. Don't make no sense.
They were already on PS2. It sounded to me like the PSP-to-PS3 thing was only going to cover games that didn't get PS2 ports.Looks like your getting your wish with Sony's new PSP remastering program for the PS3. Lots of rumors in recent weeks before that announcement about the PSP's Syphon Filter games coming to the PSP. And now that we know officially that there is a PSP remastering program in place for the PS3, the rumors are looking even better. Wouldn't be surprised to see a collection announced at E3 with HD versions of all three.
Are you sure they went with the PS2 versions? Seems like they're just making their job more difficult and expensive then it has to be since they already had HD versions to go to for each on the Xbox 360 (And probably PC).
As for the PSP remastering program, they never said that but I hope you're right. I'd rather see them concentrate on games without any console ports rather than spending time remastering things that were already released on the Playstation 2.
Konami is remastering a PSP game for their Metal Gear Solid compilation for consoles, but that's multiplatform and isn't part of Sony's official program.
That's what they said in press. Also I found out the Xbox 360 versions were only 576p.
I'm disappointed that it doesn't include Portable Ops, though.Konami is remastering a PSP game for their Metal Gear Solid compilation for consoles, but that's multiplatform and isn't part of Sony's official program.
I'm not even sure why I mentioned that.
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is a PSP exclusive and never was ported to the PS2. For some reason I was thinking it was an example of a PSP game being remastered for current generation consoles that had seen a PS2 release in the past, which of course it never did.

I would also like to see an Ace Combat 4, 5, and Zero Collection on PS3 but again another longshot.
Probably not quite what this thread is looking for, but I'd love it if Capcom bundled their PS2 classics collections (Vol. 1 & 2) on one Blu-Ray with HD/upscaled output ... and they could throw some more games/development galleries/soundtracks on there for good measure.
"And the book says: 'We may be through with the past, but the past ain't through with us.'"
Or in place of a slate of fresh games to complement their existing lineup, they could go the Namco route and toss in some of their PSN/XBLA releases to fill out their lineup (Like they did with Namco Museum Virtual Arcade).
They have some nice digital exclusives that deserve a physical release someday.
