What's so strange about that game? How much is it worth?

When you're a collector "better" doesn't enter into it. It's all about "rarer."

when it comes to collecting its all about how rare and desired something is

Best instance is Final Fantasy 7

i bought recently a mint copy of the black label version (you can go back a few pages and see it for yourself).

Everyone wants the black label copy as it was the original print of final fantasy 7. But there are only so many so thats why they go for so much

On the other hand sony and square released this game for the PS1 as well in a green "Greatest Hits" label. Its the exact same game its for the exact same console it has the exact same amount of discs and plays exactly the same and looks exactly the same.
The only difference is the green label on the case. and the discs are a slightly different color.
And the green label goes for alot less cause
    A. theres more copies of them
and B. everyone wants original stuff not reproduced stuff.

thats why first print of the first appearance of Superman goes for god awful amount of money and modern day reprints that look exactly the same go for whatever they were sold at the comic book shop for lol

Since I haven't posted the last of my December finds yet, here we go:

    Dreamcast:
Pelican light gun (loose) - $5

    Gamecube:
Star Wars: The Clone Wars (complete) - $4.99

And my last find of the month (and therefore, the year):

    PlayStation:
Galaga: Destination Earth (new) - $2.50

Check out the new N64 Rumble Pak. See how it feels to feel what you see.

FF7 is a bad example. It's not rare in either version, having sold millions of copies of both. It's just in demand as many people have held onto their copies and it's a great game.

The odd thing is, numerous and much better examples abound. Two words: Stadium. Events. It's the second most expensive NES cart while also being a lousy lousy game AND readily available under a different title for next to nothing.
