I played the euro version very average game but decent I guess.
A 32X proto Xmen beat em up was discovered the other day, it only runs on original hardware though IIRC, looks pretty spiffy but probably plays pretty badly.

Go, go Ackman!
Dracula X was going to be on 32x? Damn.
Shenmue for Saturn, I read something about that there was some kind of contest in Japan where people won early copies of Shenmue for Saturn, maybe five or six copies total? Then SEGA tried to get them back after the game was moved to Dreamcast, but were unsuccessful. I wonder if they still exist at all?
Toejam and Earl 3, that would've been neat on Dreamcast. I also really want to see that TJ&E 2 prototype that was mostly finished and similar to the first game. I heard DreamTR had it and some kind of forum was trying to raise funds to dump it, but then the proto got sold or something.
If I remember correctly, I'm pretty sure the Dracula X on 32X was a hoax, possibly for April Fools.
No prob. It's not quite the same kind of game, especially since it has almost no combat and is way more puzzle-driven, but the Zelda connection is really obvious in certain aspects, like the hammer for example.
Pirate battle for the GBA/DS
It was an advance wars type game but with pirates being developed by Orbital Media. It wa orginally planned for the GBA then switched to the DS and has now sunk without trace. :-(

Star Fox 2 -- Was so excited to see this in Nintendo Power back in the day, only to never come out officially.
Propeller Arena -- Had this preordered, we all know why it didn't officially come out...
Shogo 2 (PC) -- I don't know if this was ever in development, but it was rumored for a bit.
Peter Molyneux's B.C. for the original Xbox.
Starcraft Ghost
EarthBound 64
Twelve Tales: Conker's Quest for N64. Looked forward to it for years and I remember hearing it was pretty much done by the time they chose to revamp it.
Considering most of the stuff in here would only likely see the light of day if it were leaked on the net, I'm not sure why Star Fox 2 was mentioned since that's already dumped. Let's see something not publically available already
Bah, I was going to say that but you beat me to the punch!
I'd also second Virtua Hamster (Genny)
Sonic X-Treme (saturn)
Super Mario 64 2
SimCity NES
EarthBound Zero
and DEFINITELY RESIDENT EVIL 1.5. PTSOTL!
I'll also add
Akira (genesis/snes... yes, even though it was from THQ)
and
Deja Vu 2 (NES... yes I have it on GBC but it'd just be better on NES in 1993, dangit)

Sonic Xtream - The lack of a real sonic game on the Saturn coupled with my own ignorance of the console.
Starfox 2 - A good game close to release caned by Nintendo's obsession with image.
I am also fascinated with all of the unreleased games for the 32x.
Definitely the 3D version of Mother 3. There was so much that didn't appear in the final game - a beach town, creatures, and even a different ending. I'd like to see what was originally planned.
Never heard of A Friday the 13th game planed for the sega-cd.Just a guess,It would of probably been some crappy, grainy fmv type game.
I was disappointed that the escape game never got released.I was always A Fan of John carpenters Escape From New York, not so much A fan Of Escape From la.
A few other games off the top of my head-
Macross 2036-Turbo Grafx 16
Snatcher-Turbo Grafx 16
Eternal Champions-Sega Saturn
StatCraft Ghost-Gamecube
You know, I really would have loved to have seen the Saturn version of Blood Omen; Legacy of Kain release. The game was finished but Crystal Dynamics were never able to find a publisher. Very sad in the end. I really wonder what the differences would have been between it and the PSX release.
Since it hasn't been mentioned in this topic, I can't avoid bringing up the topic of Yeah Yeah Beebiss I (NES).
It appeared in a few mail-order ads in 1989, and no one seems to know anything about it other than that. There are no previews, no screenshots, no known developers, no anything except a name. The game may not have ever actually existed, but I want to see it if it did. I just want to know what it was.
Years ago I read in the Summer 1987 edition of NINTENDO FUN CLUB NEWS that SNK was planning to release the arcade game PSYCHO SOLDIER for the NES. Unfortunately It never saw the light of day (although it's "prequel" Athena made it).
Since then I don't think a home console version of that game has ever been released. And I so dearly loved the arcade game! Please SNK, release it on an arcade compilation disc for a current gen system ... or I'll even take a virtual console download!!
Colin McRae Rally 2.0 for the Dreamcast
Skies of Arcadia: Search for the Black Moon (or whatever the title would have been)
and
Homeworld 2: Dust Wars (supposedly completed/close)
- T*Mek and Soulstar (Jaguar)
- Rip Cord and Tunnels & Trolls (ColecoVision)
- Sadness (Wii)
- Elite (NES) or Darxide (32X) in NTSC... surely this was planned at some point?
- Faceball 2000 (Virtual Boy)
- Starcraft Ghost (Still hoping they'll come back to this)
- Unnamed Aliens RPG that Sega was working on (Still disappointed this was cancelled... maybe they'll change their minds)
- Marble Madness 2 (Arcade)
Luckily, miracles do happen, as one of the games that I would have included in my list was recently released!

I played the beta/prototype/whatever of Virtua Hamster, and I'm starting to wonder if it would have been anything worthwhile after all.
