^Another delay...its like the chinese democracy of gaming, so if it follows the same pattern it won't be relased for another year or two

Duke Nukem Forever is already the biggest joke of the gaming industry, the only thing that can top it is if Duke Nukem Forever(Gearbox version) gets delayed and then canceled as well.

I don't think it's a joke at all. Yes, it's an interesting story and a cautionary tale about what happens when a small developer has a huge hit and starts to believe that the money and accolades that come with it will never end, but the fact that this game is actually coming out and could actually be great is exciting. It's only a month delay and given how much stuff has been delayed in the past few weeks solely because of the earthquake and tsunami and how many excellent games have come out this month and will come out in the next two months, I'm really not that concerned about an additional five weeks.
I can wait another month. I've already waited 13 years. Always bet on Duke.
I got the news today at work about the delay and I laughed my butt off! I won't believe this game is actually coming out until I hold it in my hands.
I only need 2 more NES games (US)!
I watched the video announcing the delay this morning. Gotta admit, I laughed my ass off.
I wasn't one bit surprised. We'll see if this will be the last delay.

Since April 1st is a week away, I wouldn't be surprised if the June release date is redacted.

Time for me to consider preparing a pre-order for this game. I just can't wait for it to come out.

Apparently, Gamestop will be honoring pre-orders from over a decade ago. This kind of reminds me when I ordered Twilight Princess 2 years early (it was called Wind Waker 2 on the receipt).

If there is still people with valid reservation slips where money was put down, I have to wonder how much interest GS made on that money.
I'm fairly certain I had the game on pre-order when they first announced it but have long since moved it to something else and picked said item up. I have a new pre-order in place for the Ltd Edition which is mostly paid off.
The timing works for me as I just spent the bulk of the Memorial Day weekend beating Portal 2's single player campaign.
