Just picked Bulletstorm up this week. So far, it feels extremely repetitive, but I am still on chapter 2, and weapon/ability choice is thin. From what I understand it gets better further along... I just hope that further along comes soon.

I tried a bit of the multiplayer, and I was pleasantly surprised. For some reason I was thinking it would be competitve--I had visions of my body being constantly airborne and getting flung off of high places. Turns out its cooperative, much like Horde Mode in Gears, or Firefight in Halo. The whole goal is to score as many points as you can in a round, and people were generally working together to accomplish this. A nice change of pace. I could see myself getting into this mode with some friends.

Just finished up the single-player campaign (yes, some people actually DO buy games for the campaign) and may have to go back and do it again! Lots of fun, and lots more Skillshots to accomplish! It's been said before, but it's worth saying again - NOT for kids! not in the room, not in the house, probably not even in the backyard when you're playing this one! Mostly language, but the gore is pretty hearty too!

single player campaign is fucking hilarious lol, the dialog is 1 of those so bad its good things, many times did i find myself laughing out loud at the dumb shit they say"if you 2 come after me i'll kill your fucking dicks!"


gameplay is rock solid & fast paced, havent beat it yet but im getting there, definetly worth the money which is a relief since i experienced heavy buyers remorse after playing the first chapter

game really picks up after chapter 2, if youre on the fence & want an action heavy fps thats light on story & over the top dialog, definetly get this

Or I'll just play it with my Gamefly subscription. I liked it alot despite the repetitive nature of using the whip/leash over and over again. I enjoyed the skillshots but didn't go out of my way to specifially go for any in particular. I didn't get to play online since it requires an online pass and my copy was rented.

The one thing I really didn't like about the game was how they purposely drew out the last few levels to make the game last a bit longer. Add to that the Modern Warfare 2 esque ending and I was a bit let down at the end. But overall I think it's a pretty good start for what will surely become another franchise.
