Default Classic Home Video Games UPDATE!

Classic Home Video Games, 1989-1990: A Complete Guide to the Neo Geo, Sega Genesis, and TurboGrafx-16 will probably be published in time for the summer convention season.

Here are a couple of the promo blurbs thus far:

This third volume in the Classic Home Video Games series features descriptions/reviews of every official U.S.-released game for the Neo Geo, Sega Genesis, and TurboGrafx-16, all three of which ushered in the 16-bit era of gaming in 1989. Organized alphabetically by console brand, each chapter includes a description of the game system followed by substantive entries for every game released for that console. Video game entries include historical info, gameplay details, comparisons to similar games (when appropriate), and, typically, the author’s critique. In addition, appendices list and offer brief descriptions of all the games for the Atari Lynx and Game Boy, which were released in 1989, and the Neo Geo CD, Sega CD, Sega 32X, and TurboGrafx-CD, which were add-ons to the consoles covered in this book.

The author of Classic Home Video Games, 1972-1984 and Classic Home Video Games, 1985-1988, Brett Weiss is a full-time freelance writer and a leading authority in his field. In addition to playing thousands of video games since the mid 1970s, Weiss has had articles published in Game Informer, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Filmfax, Fangoria, AntiqueWeek, Toy Shop, the 2600 Connection, Classic Gamer Magazine, Video Game Collector, Video Game Trader, and various other publications.

Some might argue that the foreword is the best part of the book.
