Default PSP Connect to Playstation Store Question.

Hello, I have a psp3000 and when i try to connect to the playstation store, I get a message on the screen that says in order to connect, I need to download some type of software or whatever it is before I can connect. Is this normal? Also does anyone know how to change screen display on a standard tv?Thanks.

You need to update the firmware to the latest version to be able to connect to the store.

Do a firmware update first, located to the far right in the system menu.

As far as screen display options, what exactly do you mean by "change" them?

Thanks the for info. Sorry about not being clear enough about "change". I meant is there a way to make the picture on the screen bigger or smaller? Got this used with no owners manual. Thanks again.

Not on the PSP hardware itself, games will play with a large black border.

However a lot of modern TVs have screen zoom features that you can use to compensate.
