Rental copies of commercial games?

anyone have information on these for the major three home consoles? Been trying to find some information and so far I see nothing.

Anyone have experience with them and the license they come with for resale?

And no, I don't mean used blockbuster copies.

I wasn't aware that there was a difference. Every place I've rented a game from in the past decade just uses a retail copy, or in some cases, a used copy traded in by a customer..
