You can't compare the iPad2 to the DS or PSP. The DS and PSP are gaming machines first and foremost, while the iPad is many things in one device. I do agree it's over priced, although it's cool device. If it was $300 of less, I might consider one?

Since I didn't bite on the the 1st iPad I'll be in on this one.

Having experieinced everything that the 1st has to offer thanks to my better half getting one for XMas I was sold - but I knew this announcement was inevitable so I held off on getting my own.

Magazine, comic and book reading, web surfing and iOS gaming is a shit ton of fun on the pad, and with the added processor speed and bonus of Skype-ing with camera, I don't see much of a reason to wait for the third iteration.

Well, tomorrow is the moment of truth: how much RAM will the iPad 2 have?

I doubt I will be able to pick one up in the next few days, mainly because I read that PR will have to wait as there is no expected date to sell the iPad. I just hope this is a false rumor, since puertorricans seem to love false news.

I seriously hope it has at LEAST 512MB of RAM...

I understand wanting to know how much RAM the iPad 2 has, but it really doesn't matter as long as everything runs smoothly. Unlike a computer, the OS and apps are custom built and optimized to run specifically on this device.
